Потрясающе. Смотрел и вспоминал, как сам был на "Микасе". Там, кстати, в экспозиции стоят пластиковые модели всех кораблей японского имп. флота 2МВойны (ну, может не всех, но головных кораблей каждой серии точно) - словом, есть на что посмотреть.

Built the boat in 1/350 scale..A very nice kit but the photo etch on the 1/200 kit oh my god !!!!!!

Mikasa looks to be based upon the Canopus Class, I'm 3D modelling HMS Vengeance intending to 3D print her.....although with a different name THUNDERCHILD. Thank you greatly, I will use your videos to detail my own, maybe if I get the chance to visit Japan and see Mikasa for myself. Again thank you. If you need some detailed guns 6" QF guns let me know...

Interesting how the stern of the ship has the captain's cabin just like is traditional.

That was more to do with the layout of the ships at the time. The engines took up so much space, it was really difficult to find places to put all the crew and officers. In reality being located on the stern was terrible because of the vibration caused by the engines.
