Depending on your MSP430 part number, you may have to use USCI_A1_VECTOR instead of EUSCI_A1_VECTOR in your interrupt. This was the case for the MSP430FR5969

Thank you so much! Also i have used Putty to communicate my msp430 with my computer. It works, perfect. My suggestion to you Mr. LaMeres, sir you should make videos about implementing todays arduiono modules to msp430 using Code Composer Studio. Because i researched on the internet and i haven't seen any video or example codes to implement these modules and sensors. Most of Indian guys make the implemention using Energia IDE. That IDE is very similar to arduino IDE. In my opinion that implementation is not professional, so you should do that and i will be glad . Thank you again this video series great. Keep publishing videos :)

Thank you sir. I noticed that you didn't clear the receive interrupt flag in the ISR. I wonder why you haven't done that. I searched the monster datasheet and found out that UCRXIFG is automatically reset when UCAxRXBUF is read. Thank you once again sir.
