Love your videos. I like the stories you throw in, you have a very energetic teaching style. It's from 2017 but still helping students 4 years later. I almost feel like I'm in an actual chemistry class despite all my college chem lectures sadly being on zoom. Thank you!

Love love love your analogies and examples!! Currently struggling with enzymatics and your active teaching style really makes stick. Thank you!!

Glad you're finding them helpful BP. If you're studying enzymatics perhaps it is in a biochemistry context? I don't have them presently here on youtube but I do have a set of a free set of biochemistry videos on my website which include a chapter an Enzyme Kinetics. Here's the URL for the first lesson in that chapter: www.chadsprep.com/chads-elementary-biochemistry-videos/4-1-introduction-to-enzyme-kinetics/ Hope this helps and Happy Studying!

@@ChadsPrep Yes, sir- biochemistry specifically for the MCAT, so I'm trying to make connections between concepts and your videos are really helpful for this. Thank you for the link!

You're welcome Ryan!!! Coincidentally, don't you have an approximate 18 month old right about now? Hope you all are well! I still remember the first day of TA training and I was totally not expecting you as "Ryan Yanashima" when I took attendance!😜

@@ChadsPrep I thought the memorable part was Nargis's dumb little sister. Chad I have to say again you are a Legend.

Who knew you would learn bit of geography too from Chad's example of catalyst providing alternate pathway! 😂

To label the delta H in a reaction coordinate diagram, do we simply look at how far the reactants are from products on the y axis? What if we have an exothermic 2 step reaction where both the first and second steps have a higher Ea in the reverse reactions compared to their forward reaction? Is the delta H still how far the STARTING reactants (of step 1) are from the final products on the y axis? Or is delta H the difference in the intermediate to the products? I hope the question makes sense.
@ChadsPrep6 жыл бұрын
The difference in energy (on the y-axis) between the reactant and product is indeed delta H for the reaction. It is a state function and is independent of path, depending only on the initial and final state. Hope this helps!
