Awesome video. I’ve got a similar setup. 1.93 mount for my massive dome and a magpul prs lite stock gives the perfect cheek weld every time with plenty of lop. Learned that trick from you in an older video. Thanks. The prs lite stock is heavy but it’s as comfy as my precision rifles prone so why not.

Awesome. Really dig that ARCA rail. On a side note, don't show this to those guys running 12.5's they might start questioning their life choices.

12.5 is an awesome length. But it leaves meat on the bone beyond 400. Danger space and what not.

Idk if it’s the same barrel but I have a hodge 14.5 mid length and was wondering what kind of groups are you getting at 100/500m and with what ammo. Also do those group hold up after the barrel heats up? I’m kinda curious I haven’t really seen much info on the accuracy of hodge barrels and would really appreciate your answer!
@the_anton_kabanov11 ай бұрын
Just finished up a class with Mark and had the pleasure of seeing his groups because my target was right next to him. Looked like (3/4 to 1.25 MOA) from 50 yards out to 200. I was also running the same barrel and wasn't doing my part as well as I could have, but I would say I was in the 1 to 3 MOA over the same distance.

Good evening sir. I have a question about a piece of kit you use. What kind of riser are you using on your stock? They look like the ones made by Magpul, but they look about half inch shorter, so I am just confirming. Thank you for your time.

Well, the Navy wanted a 16" gun when they were designing the Mk12 at Crane. The Army wanted a 20" gun. They compromised with 18". That's the only reason people think of a DMR as a 18" gun. Those Hodge barrels run fast on velocity. Plus they are 9310. And the chroming process used doesn't hinder accuracy. And are supposed to hold accuracy past 40k round counts. So there's that. Criterion uses the same chrome process. And their chrome lined barrels are pretty accurate. Same with Sionics. And they run fast on velo. When Hodge came out with his rifles at the time he was a conceptualist. Along with being a perfectionist. Trying to bomb proof a rifle as much as one could. The industry in some circles are catching up. Like with anything. You work within the limits of the equipment you put together. While working within your own limits. And the limits of the space you are occupying. If 300 is your max as he stated. 14.5 Hodge gun is probably way overkill.
