Use of packing cubes is a must for all travel. Use of a TSA bag for liquids. Taking a picture of your luggage on your cell. A specific ribbon identifier for checked baggage and a specific looking luggage tag with your name and cell number.

We landed and were able to get our bag quickly when it wasn’t on the carousel because I had bought a narrow thicker ribbon that was bright white with different colored dots on it and tied it on all our bags and carryon bags too. The ribbons just popped and lost and found called the luggage handlers and it was promptly brought to us.

Exactly, I was in a line once and TSA agent was saying not to remove our shoes. I guess it depends on who is in charge of the line that day and what kind of mood that person is in, and whether that person wants to work hard or not.

Nice list, but the numbering is way off. Number 11 should be the last thing you do just before you board your plane. I always do this, and I never had to use the lavatory on a plane. Checking your bag for prohibited items should be near the top of the list and you should do it before you depart for the airport.

Checking-in online is not always an option with international carriers. My long-haul flight with EVA Air did not allow online check-in. Their reasoning is to milk passengers out of more money. They charge you just to reserve an aisle seat. I will never fly with this airline again.

I accidentally left a small bottle of eye drops in my pocket going thru the x ray machine, was yelled at by the agent. So make sure your pockets are completely empty, then double check them before you go thru the scanner.

Repetitive. How many times must you say to relax and find a lounge? You missed important tips, such as removing everything in your pockets, take off your belt and put it in a pocket of your carry-on or personal item before you get in the security line. That tip lessens stress and reduces the chance that you will leave valuables behind.

I wear lace up shoes so untie them and easy off and easy on. I wear a jacket that has pockets in side and everything goes in there and not loose in the bins. My only issue is because of check-in bag I have to to the counter. I fly international to Asia regularly as I relocated there. Rarely flew in when living in the US. 3 times pot smoking drunk drugies caused the flights diverted another time I was seat next to African karen and did refused to set by a white man. I only had carry-on and as at the gate I walked off. US has the most problem people.
