I love my foot hammock. I’ve used it for about 4-5 years now. I’m 5 ft tall. My legs hardly touch the ground, at least not comfortably. It’s a game changer to take pressure off your knees.

What about person seating in front of of you?
@so.many.obstacles3 ай бұрын
@@lubamordkovich4077 OMG! On my recent 15 hour flight from Cape Town the lady in back of me had one. She was heavyset and I could feel her constant adjusting. I was in a deep sleep and I yelled out, “Stop pulling my seat!” I didn’t mean to it was just a natural reaction from yanking my seat. At one point I don’t know if she didn’t remove her feet from the hammock or if the tray table slipped, but the tray table opened up and slammed down. I was freaking livid!!! One thing that irks my nerves are people that act like other people don’t exist in this world. I don’t even recline my seat because the little bit of comfort I get means the person behind me is even more uncomfortable. In the rare cases that I lean back, I look behind me first and I ask the person behind me if it would be an inconvenience. Even when I’m on the window, I will ask my seat neighbors if they prefer up or down.

I'm 4'8" and I love mine, too. I get really restless legs if my feet don't have support.
@littlebitty76332 ай бұрын
@@lubamordkovich4077 they don't even know it's there. It literally just gives you a spot to rest your feet. You're not pushing and pulling on it and it's sits right down in between the seat and the tray "legs" so there's not even much leverage to be able to disturb the person in front of you.
@juliehalverson6232 ай бұрын
@@lubamordkovich4077 the person in front of you isn’t effected. It doesn’t pull on the seat. At least mine doesn’t. I suppose if I really stomped on it, it could?? But not nearly like someone getting up to use the restroom and pushing your seat forward, etc.
@HALLover8082 ай бұрын
Please be careful about promoting the leg hammock. I am a flight attendant and it is against policy to use a device that you attach to the aircraft. Since you have to attach it to the tray table, it could damage it as it is not built for that type of use. I know you said you’ve been using it for years but I know that this policy was recently added at my airline within the last year or so.
@pammiemartin1648Ай бұрын
Thank you for this info, do you think the neck rest that attaches to the head rest is ok? I’m going to Australia and hoping to use it to get some sleep.
@HALLover808Ай бұрын
@ as long as it doesn’t impede on the person behind you. Honestly, it all depends on the airline you travel on. I know my airline would consider your pillow a travel accessory and many travel accessories are not allowed.
@CerridwenAwelАй бұрын
I suppose I'll be the annoying one arguing pas de nullite sans grief (basically, nothing wrong without a grievance), considering the policy probably exists to avoid damage to the tray, and I assume responsibility over damages for whatever I do, policy or not. Else, I'll be happy to talk about the disregard to basic orthopaedic wellbeing in those same aircraft, and demand some compensation for the intentional, greedy neglect, damage or not.

Hi Aly. I have watched so many of your videos. Very helpful. The past 2x I went from NJ to Fla I had a carry on and the flight was packed so they made me check my bag. I'm hesitant to pack a carry on when we go to Costa Rica in Jan. Any tips for this? Thank you
@mhtammiАй бұрын
I bring a small carryon with things that will get me through three days as every time I have checked a bag for Costa Rica it has been delayed. If you are going point to point you should be okay, but for me there are at least two transfers. If you are going to multiple locations your bag may not catch up to you. The address system in Costa Rica can be interesting. I stay with family and their address is described as a certain number of meters from a set of coordinates. You may want to check that out ahead of time.

@bettyparker3317Күн бұрын
This has happened to me at least twice. Pack *some* clothes in your personal under-seat bag. Just what you need to get by for a couple days. That really does not have to be much. Like underwear, some damp face/body wipes (put 3-4 in a baggie, ditto for lotion and deodorant wipes), a thin T-shirt or light top. (you wear any heavier sweater/jacket to board, if needed). A charger and cord. Maybe a pair of pants/shorts, in thinnest, lightest material. Travel mascara and blush. (Do you need more make-up? Your call.) Meds always stay with you regardless, like money and IDs and required documents. It sounds like a lot, but it packs down to about the size of a paperback book. If your luggage is lost longer than 3 days or so, chances are good-not for sure, but good-you won’t get it anytime soon. Then…buy more(?) Wait? Whatever works for you. Obviously even the minimum is unlikely to fit in most purse. So you stick a handbag in the under-seat personal bag. This is too late for this person, but maybe helpful for others.
