Great video! Am from the US state of New Jersey, and there are many beautiful places to visit. One of them is very underated, and is JFK Boulevard East located in the towns of Weehawken, West New York, and Guttenberg. Is a boulevard that has parks in the edge of a hill, called the Palisades Cliffs and offer panoramic views of New York City!! Is also located just about 15 minutes walk (depending where you are) from the waterfront. Is really beautiful.

Utah should be in top 3. It has 5 national parks!

But that's the thing: it ONLY has parks to offer. California and Florida have parks PLUS a wide bevy of other options--better weather, beaches, nightlife, cruises, theme parks, professional sports, etc. Utah should be top 3 when it comes to parks, but the state has virtually nothing else to offer apart from that. Oh sorry, forgot about the middling Utah Jazz.

Northern Utah has superb mountains for all types of outdoor activities, Salt Lake, City, Park City, Logan have more cultural activities than most other states including opera companies, ballet, theater, and lots of national class dining. And weather from April to November is usually superb, and fall colors are an attraction all by itself.

Ohio is lovely in the Fall and Summer. Rolling hills, farmland galore, some ancient mountains along the eastern border, a fantastic Great Lake to the north, two of the best amusement parks in the country, every county has it's own summer county fair with excellent homemade pies and cooking and 4-H animals on display, and ancient archeological sites to explore and caverns, the rolling Ohio River, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, stock car racing and drag racing, and superb state parks for additional recreational fun! Y'all come by, now.

I wouldn't say any state in the midwest compares to these. In my personal experience, Wisconsin is probably my favorite out of the midwest, but I have family there and have been there many times so maybe I'm biased. Other than that, Illinois has Chicago of course, but other than that not much. I've never been to Michigan but the northern part specifically looks quite beautiful. I'd say those are probably the top 3. Maybe Ohio if you're an adrenaline junkie because of all it's theme parks. Plus Cincinnati is a pretty nice city.

In the summer, Minnesota would be a great place to visit. It has endless amounts of lakes and beautiful nature to enjoy, and the Twin Cities are terrific for tourists with all kinds of stuff to do. If you don't mind cold, it can be a great place to visit in the winter as well, but it gets VERY cold.
