14 bolt swap and disc brake conversion

I found a 14 bolt to swap into the squarebody. I get this rear axle cleaned up and swapped into my 85 Chevy k20. Then we installed a disc brake conversion kit on it. It turned out awesome and works even better.

I had to use a big slide hammer to remove the seals! None of the tools that you're supposed to use worked.

Where did you get the brake conversion kit from?

The brackets lines and lug studs were from off-road design, the rotors, pads and calipers I got locally 👍

Thanks! What year of truck did you use to look up and source the pads, rotors, and calipers from the local parts shop?

Front rotors, pads and calipers will work off any 80's k20... I went with the Cadillac eldorado rear calipers that have a parking brake,
