A small magnetic level is certainly a good thing, if you are sure that the entire area is level, there is a chance that you put on a dent and rust and will not show the correct reading, usually in the construction of metal structures is recommended to use at least half a meter level

Work mate bought one of the ink line boxes. Absolute mess plus the ink is permanent. I personally do not recommend these unless the lumber is hidden completely and splatter isn't a big deal. That "rescue" jack is pretty slick. Farmers and off roaders have been using them for 50 years or more. I have a 48" on the jeep for tire changes.

It appears to be a modified Hi Lift jack, which I own. They are great jacks for certain uses but the price of the one in the video seems like a bit of a gouge. It's 3X (plus) the price of a Hi Lift.. And yes, the basic design has been around for ages.

The mortising gauge for $230.00 Is a tad more expensive than the one I have used for over 50 years. Mine does exactly the same thing without the bling! Almost Identical to mine is available at Harbor Freight for $12.99 and will last a lifetime.

"Tight" areas? A 'Standard" PVC Cutter is shaped like pliers.. only, on one side, it has a sharp blade that slides onto the pipe.. and 'slices' the pipe in two. Dude.. HOW is YOUR way easier than this? @@fahhcue850

They are lighter so that you are not fatigued after using them all day. They are the highest quality tools on the market.
@nathandale7456
@nathandale7456 Жыл бұрын
@Jeremiah Mckenna my experience with them is substantially different. Aside from feeling lightweight, the batteries are difficult to remove on some tools due to fitment tolerances, the jigsaw holds the blade at a bout a 5 degree angle to the tool making accurate cuts impossible. The battery life is less than I have experienced with other brands. Even their own lower end brands AEG and Ryobi have been of higher quality from my experience, especially when you take into account price.

A problem plastic pipe cutters have, which is more evident in smaller diameter pipes, is that they leave a lip at the edge of the cut making it somewhat difficult to press fittings on.

There is a very good reason they discontinue tools, it's because they are dangerous if used by amateurs and maybe even professionals. I bet if you looked up why it was removed from sale, you will find some lawsuits or settlements :). Or could even be local or National Laws put in place that outlaw certain tools, back in the day my State banned ladder brackets, the most useful tool a Painter could have in his tool box as it allowed two ladders to be used as a trestle system, trouble is you had morons from across the pond having three or more Men on one plank, which caused accidents to happen and always the Government steps in to save idiots.

That wire stripper is used by scrappers, not installers. You only need a small amount of wire to be uncovered when installing, but you want all of the insulation off of the copper when turning the wires in for scrap.
