For another idea, I have used Nite Ize brand Gear Ties. I have a small camera pouch and rolled 2 18" & 2 12" ties that could fit in your hand. They work great because you can twist around a tree, like the string, or I have even formed a mini tripod with them to get that quick shot. The rubberized material protects your gear and keeps it from slipping with infinite possibilities.

@@liamrossow1326 WOW the quality is stunning. You really captured the coastline. I have an idea for a youtube channel for you. Keep shooting great shots like these but at the same location, record some nice ambient audio to go with the footage. Then share 10 - 20 shots in a sequence all with really great natural sound and people can use that footage (and your playlist of more awesome videos just like it) as a serene screen saver on their Smart TV. Your phone can record the sound when you are just starting out. place a sweater or something over the top of the phone to block wind noise and don't handle the phone while recording. Good luck.
