I love Madame Alexander dolls. I think they are so beautiful and so well made. I have begun to collect the First Ladies Doll Collection by Brinns which came out in 1986. The first doll of this series I found while out thrift shopping one day was Jane Irwin Harrison, the daughter- in- law of President William Henry Harrison. She served as hostess in the White House during her father-in-law's short-lived presidency. I next found Martha Washington and Abigail Adams in their original boxes on the shelf in my local Good Will. Just recently I found Dolly Madison and Elizabeth Monroe during a visit to another newer Good Will store. I am hoping to eventually collect the whole series of dolls or as many of the series I can find. Thanks for another great video. Take care & God bless!

I LOVE all these First Lady Dolls:)!! In fact the Mary Ann face mold is what my Snow White Madame Alexander's face resembles:)!! My favorites from this series are: Abigail Adams royal blue dress with lace as well as her gorgeous blue with white rhinestone broach and Louisa Adams beautiful white gown with her rose crown in her hair:)!! Also, because I LOVE history lessons, I was very impressed with Dolly Madison funded a " orphan home for girls":)!! Thank you for sharing not only these stunningly beautiful First Lady Dolls, but also the history of all the First Ladies)!!

Do you know the overcharged diamond Beaty, that I go for a low 250 bucks years ago, is the same mold that the Eliza Dolittle doll was made in 1965. She's my fair lady platinum blond.

Enjoyed this! I can see the three face molds. You are on to something 😉 I have the complete series 1. I also have dolls from series 2-4, but missing a few in those. I have none from series 5-6. Once last year I found Jackie Kennedy from series 6. I passed her up because her shoes were gone and it seems there was another minor flaw. Kinda wish I had picked her up. The later series are much more difficult to find.

Thanks for your comments! These are among the dolls I have sold, and regretted it afterward. I love this size doll and Mary Ann is my favorite Alexander face. I don't think I have ever even seen the later series.
