I now incorporate Somatic mediation and wim hof breathwork in the morning and before bed. Not only should we be training our physical body and provide it with good nutrition, but we also must train our mental and spiritual self as well! Get the mind body and soul in sync to be our higher self!

Woah, REALLY appreciated you touching on mental health Thomas. As someone who went through a pretty traumatizing life event in December, it was fascinating to see how hard it has hit my HRV. No amount of sleep, training, or gaming it helped... only time and healing. Please don't shy away from touching on mental health in the future, much like sleep is all the rage this year, I think it could be very helpful as something to focus on with regards to training and fitness. Holistic approach etc :)

Man, to me this was one of the most helpful videos in a while. It's great to do occasional lookbacks to see what's working. One thing that would be helpful is just a smidge more detail. For example, in the Red Light Therapy section, it would've been helpful to know how much time per day you spend soaking in the rays (or what threshold seems to be the most helpful for you.) You're a metrics guy, so we know you track that stuff!

@@burymebelowawillowtree9243 That seems counterintuitive, being that red-light therapy is emulating beneficial NIR/IR energy you naturally obtain from the sun and (more incidentally) fire - hence our adaptation to it, where being indoors too long diminishes that exposure, moreso in winter climates. It's basically the similar context of how plants absorb photons of light energy to facilitate photosynthesis. The point being - the sun does not strobe or flash, so why would doing that with man-made IR be superior?

@@dudoklasovity2093 It's basically disconnecting from your ego and not being so judgemental - more the observer. That way you can 'receive' the 'woo-wow' waves of wisdom and benefit accordingly. Seriously though, apart from the intended humour, it's more like 'going with the flow' vs. trying to control every aspect of reality. The 'awakening' is basically where you can recognize the natural patterns that manifest relative to what we consider 'reality', where that tends to be subjective, more a reflection of our ego's filtered perspective. Not to say a 'spade isn't a spade', but to recognize that we tend to take things for granted, relative to the labels we apply to them - again, from an 'egoic perspective', if not outright ignorance.

I’m glad to hear you say that about the control issue because I’ve noticed it about plenty of influencers. They talk like they’re going to be able to change almost any of their problems if they’re just disciplined enough. And that just isn’t true. We’re actually able to control only a very small number of things in our lives. And many people who are at their most peaceful are the ones that except that. I’m still working on it. I noticed it in Thomas sometimes because he seems to worry about people‘s reactions here on the net. He wants us to go easy on him. Even though he gets thousands of positive comments. And he’s a handsome man and he’s got a fabulous body and he’s quite successful at what he does, but there’s still that fear of disapproval . Of course, we all have people in our lives that we care about and want the approval of, but to worry as a burden. I’m only in my senior years learning to be less swayed. I emphasize less. I’m still very vulnerable, but I can’t pretend the reactions aren’t there.
