if you do an internet speed test right as you join an arena, your tag turns invisible to everyone in the arena and the icon turns into a white circle. in this glitched state you are also unable to start matches, but you are able to take up a spot in the ring.

As an Isabelle player I can confirm the sound effect doesn't only sound if you hit a bumper, if you get hit by anything for whatever conditions i don't know, it will sound infinitely as well. I believe it's if you get hit by something right after you try to go back to the ledge

Yeah there's even an animation for the oil coming off. And as a previous G&W main, I'm pretty sure the oil doesn't stay on for that long. But it's been months and I haven't zoomed in close to the character during oil panic

Not to brag or anything, but I had actually discovered the glitch at 4:04 on my own as early as June 2020, when I was experimenting with custom stage wind to see how it affects fighter movement (falling speed, walking/running speed, etc.). I didn't share the glitch out of fear that it would get patched if I did.

There was a similar glitch. If you put team battle, joker team up with pokemon trainer, theres a glitch when the player switch pokemon and fills up the rebellion gauge much faster and Arsene appears in seconds

That joker glitch reminds me of something similar with Pokémon trainer which was patched out a while ago. I think it’s because the game detects different characters taking damage under the same team which contributes to his gauge.
