Interesting comment about the baggage. I typcially fly JAL but start at a smaller regional airport on Alaska and have never had an issue with having my baggage tagged as priority for Premium Economy or Business.

It was awesome! Great customer service and lots of food! The tv is huge! I now prefer starlux over JAL. You will absolutely love it! They also give you cozy pajamas!

Nice, I was in 4K on that same route back in June, I love the airline, they do a solid job.

@@MegaMeowMeow This is definately better than JAL 777 or 787, those are too old. Maybe on per with their new A350 but no A350 for SFO.

Nice review, definitely will have to try this airline. Hopefully they will get routes to and from EWR or IAD soon. Surprised your toppings for your yogurt was from one spoon, the FA’s should use one spoon for each topping. Not looking forward to flying domestic to the west coast then transferring to an international flight, too much of a hassle.

They will once their first A350-1000 is delivered, but most likely they will use JFK first.

Alaska is chronically bad about printing partner airline boarding passes! They've gotten me stuck in YVR's international transit area before because they couldn't print a Cathay Pacific boarding pass in Seattle.

Thanks! I'm flying SFO-TPE in a few days. I had been wondering what lounge Starlux was using at SFO... I guess I'm going to pass and head over to the Amex lounge instead.

they use oneworld business(Qantas)

They're using Virgin's lounge recently, so is JAL. Maybe due to the fact that Virgin has a first class exlusive dining area and both JAL and JX fly first class from SFO. If I remember correctly, AMEX is on the G/United side that's very far away from A gates.
