I found a Florida Green Philo for $15 and a Silver Sword philo for $20 today at Hom Depot here in MN and I still can not believe it, I got both! Never thought they would ever sell either! They were in the outdoor section so yes keep checking outdoor section!

I have the hairy rhipsalis. It hangs in my east facing den window with morning light. It gets watered weekly with all the other plants. If you go more than 14 days it will start to have strands dry out and turn brown. I've had mine for about 4 years and it has gotten quite long, though it has never bloomed. I love it though. It occasionally drops little pieces of vine segments when I carry it to the kitchen for a good watering. If the segment is good enough, I pop it into a tiny water vessel to propagate. And I have a snow cap lacunosa. It blooms white flowers that smell like a typical grocery store flower bouquet. You can tell when it's thirsty because the leaves will feel very thin. I water mine every two weeks.

The lowes I just went to yesterday had a whole bunch of root rot. I got really excited because i saw a crocodile fern but it was rotting with browning crispy leaves and even had a bird poop on one of the leaves (and it was inside lol). Super disappointing 😭

I got one of those peperomia in the fall. It is a prolific grower! I’ve chopped and propped mine 3x. And they root quickly in water. It’s really ridiculous. My sis grew a full 6 in pot from leaves she got from a plant pal. So it’s a good grower!

I scored big at Home Depot last night (outdoor section!)! I snagged two 3-gal Snake Plants (probably Sansevieria trifasciata & Sansevieria zeylanica) for $11 each...they are FULL and 4 feet tall each!!! I also got three 6" grow pot Split Leaf Philodendron (about 2 ft tall) for $5.99 each! I might go back for the rest of them tonight, lol. One ZZ plant with several new branches/leaves for $4.99, and a couple of beautiful Syngonium. Clearance rack FTW!!!!

Rhipsalis does not need lots of light and I water mine maybe once a month...they do thrive in lower light! So happy for you and love all 3 of your baskets! Great great finds!

I have bought two hoyas in the last two weeks....found at big box stores...one was mislabeled, the other labeled correctly. I enjoy the hunt and enjoy looking whether I buy a plant or not. Garden centers have been the only place where I felt I could safely shop during the last two years.

Also have the same variety of rhipsalis and have had it a couple of years. They are drought tolerant and enjoy a more acidic situation. I water mine once a month in the warmer months and less in the cooler times.

Hi! I live in Oregon and my Rhipsalis hangs in a north facing window with East & West all glass french doors onto covered decks. The light in the room is bright and indirect with just small amounts of direct sunlight in the early morning and late afternoon (the sunlight doesn’t touch the Rhipsalis). My plant loves this space. I wish our Lowes had that kind of houseplant selection! Enjoying your channel!

I got that same type of rhipsalis at WM about two months ago. I don't fuss too much over it. Give it bright, indirect sunlight and only water it when the water meter is close to dry. So far so good.

Rhipsalis is a jungle cactus.Yes, treat like a succulent. but not direct sunlight, I keep my near an east window. The bluish cast aglaonema is called ghost. They are a little more sensitive to watering than any of my other aglo's. Careful not to overwater.

The pale aglaonema you saw is called a ghost aglaonema. Not sure if anyone mentioned it in the comments. I have one and I love it! My friend is the Hoya queen and I guess I am the Peperomia nut! LOL The nice thing is we are never in competition when we go plant shopping!

Hi Ashley! I was wondering if you could please tell me the number on your Hoya label. I bought one without a name tag in the winter and it has given me two sets of flowers and I just found another peduncle growing two days ago. The flowers look like the ones on a Rosita, but the leaves aren’t pinkish red enough to be. Based on the leaves of the Lacunosa it could be that one. I would really appreciate it!! I heard you say that you struggle w/Cebu Blue. I would love to know more about your experience with that plant. When I first saw Cebu Blue pics I had to have one. I purchased a very small plant online last year, & it has grown very little. All the videos I've watched say they grow fast. But not mine. I thought it would love a grow light, but that was too harsh & leaves turned yellow. I'm still learning. I enjoy your videos!

Hi. I have a small cebu that I bought about 5 months ago. 4” pot did not grow much but in the last month it’s trails have gotten much longer. In south window gets full light as much as the sun is out but only direct sun for maybe an hour at mid afternoon just water every 5-7 days a few ounces. If this helps.

Ashley I found white squishy white balls in my soil. Is it gnat eggs ? Or does perlite fill up with water ? I threw them out.

Gnats are small creatures. I'm not sure you can actually see their eggs. The balls could be slow released fertilizer mixed in with the soil.
