According to the Bible, the angel Gabriel first said "Hail Mary" (in Latin "Ave Maria") in greeting to Mary just before announcing to her that she would be the mother of Jesus Christ. I love this song so much. It always calms me whenever I'm worried or feeling down. I believe that God uses this music to heal our souls and remind us of Himself. This kind of music helps us to go beyond our computers, cell phones, work, bills, etc. and reminds us that there is so much more to life.

Simply amazing! This seems to touch so many people but we hardly ever get to hear music like this unless we go to church. Instead we get to listen to violent rap and songs like W.A.P by Cardi B. These are the youngsters who should inspire and be the role models for today's youngsters! Both lead vocalists are incredible. Their voices probably broke a long time ago! what shame to loose such angels!

Человек, который прошёл войну и прекрасно понимая, что религиозную музыку ему никто в советской стране не даст издать под своим именем, записал это произведение, приписав его G.Caccini. Он же автор музыки под которую Гребенщиков пел песню "Под небом голубым есть город золотой", она была записна под авторством Франческо да Милано, который ничего подобного не сочинял. Всё это сочинил и исполнил Вавилов.
