It turned out so beautiful! At first when I saw the black and white floor under I was hoping that Rob will keep it. I should have trusted the process, because he discovered hardwood and it turned out so beautiful. The whole room is just spectacular!

Wow, just wow! It looks incredible! Great job everyone! I think my favourite is the floor, also watching those walls go from all the colours to one uniform colour was very satisfying. I love the soft accent colours of the shelf with the pencil crayon box and the hutch you put your lazy Susan on. It is a very calming space. Laundry is my favourite household task so this beautiful space really speaks to me. It so far is my favourite makeover of this series. Thank you for sharing.

When I watched you clean that floor with just water and saying that you tried to sand it with less than stellar results, it made me wonder how many people don't check first to see if the dirt will, in fact, come up with just water. I'd never seen that method used, so that was very educational. You both did a fantastic job! You have so much patience, which is needed when you work on these beautiful old houses. Can't rush the process, right?

WOW...my favorite part of the transformation is the floor - it's beautiful! And I will definitely remember about using hot water to remove that black stuff on top of the hardwood. LoL...I really love every bit of the room, but my favorite piece is the green side table.

Great job! I have radiators too and that is a cover I could probably use in one of my rooms as I am always looking for cover ideas. If you ever want to cover one in a more formal room, I took an old buffet on legs, cut the back out and pushed it over the radiator in my old kitchen for a make shift shelf/storage. Its great for plants and rising homemade bread because its warm .

*WONDERFUL TRANSFORMATION, Lindsey and Rob! Your wooden floors turned out beautiful, except for that one dark area near (and under) the washer and dryer...Here's a tip to lighten it up: oxalic acid. It's great for bleaching stains out of wood, and even cleans rust from metals. It's a product that has been used by restorers of wood furniture and flooring for decades...and Amazon sells it, too. Don't take my word for it; do your own research. 😊 I believe you will find it useful for many projects around your Dutch colonial home (as I have). 💚🤍💜* *I really like the pallet cover on heavy magnets over the radiator - very cost-effective and farmhouse-decor stylish❣️🥰 The rattan potty chair, washboard (a Selah Heirloom❣️), ringer and flat iron are all wonderful pieces of nostalgic decor, too. 😉💟 If you ever come across an old rug beater when you're antiquing or thrifting, that would look great in your Laundry Room - as would old-fashioned clothes pins (if you could find them) in a clothes pin bag (that you could easily craft for yourself). The plants 🌿🪴🍃 are a lush, finishing touch❣️👌*
