LOL. That is definitely NOT true. Think about it, why didn't they implement Attacking builder huts back in 2016 or 2017. It is clear that they were never planning on adding certain things to the game, but they have sort of been forced to add those things, because the game is dying.

You can't be too sure about that, because battle machine is a hero as well and u can only unlock it at bh5 so that does not mean you'll get a new one at bh10 or so.

I’d imagine that most of these features being denied are a result of the Clash team being smaller than it is today, and so these small changes just couldn’t be done with the team at the time without taking away from the larger updates.

@@GauravGarg20251. max it to get gem mine to highest level. then you can forget it and occasionally remember oh right i have this. and pick 19 gems every 4 days (since it generates 5 every day) and if you use maxed clock tower, it generates 1 more instead if you use the boost that is available once every 22 hours. Under the above conditions and assuming the Clock Tower boost is used once per day, such a Gem Mine will generate 2,190 Gems in one non-leap year, and 2,196 Gems in a leap-year. almost 2.2k gems just for maxing builder base and using the clock tower. but even if you dont use clocktower once and just collect gems it generates 1825 gems in a year.

If anyone remembers the Facebook game, Ninja Kingdom, they would recall that instead of gems; jade was used as the "pay to win" currency. Jade mines were a thing and in fact used enemy troops as the way to get the resource mined for the user. I'm pretty sure if the jade mine was destroyed, the troops were set free by the attacker and more workers would need to be obtained. There was also a pit trap in that game that based off the troop capacity, would take a certain number of attacking troops out of combat. So it makes sense that players wanted a gem mine for a long time.
