New to mistweaver. Is there a reason you don't do two tiger palms prior to blackout kick for the 4 stacks of teaching of the monastery? Seems like even in bigger pulls u still only do 1 tiger palm.

Hmm, I do most of the time. Are you looking at a time when I have chi-ji rolling? Sometimes I just want the healing from the blackout kick gust procs. Also sometimes I am just trying to get the Master of Harmony dot on more targets for the damage amp so before my vitality runs out I swap targets and hit another blackout kick for the cleave.

is Ancient Teachings bugged on Details!? The spell doesn't even show up now since the Details update yesterday. It is annoying because that has always been my top healing in M+ fistweaving. So now it just looks like I don't heal basically.

Why don't you recommend MOH? I'm having such a hard time settling on a playstyle right now. Can see merits in the Conduit Fistweaving build. the MOH Build and even the Conduit Caster build has it's pro's and cons. Seems like every style does something the other cannot and every style also has something extremely obvious it can't do as well/feels like something is missing compared to the others.

Because MOH is harder and for 99.5% of MW players your dmg isn't going to be what stops you from timing keys. The only real merit to MOH is dmg. Also there is no such thing as a caster build for MW. You are intentionally playing suboptimally if you play a "caster" build.

@@zerodivided3676 The extra CD means you can double stack every dmg event on the hard fights (DB 2nd/3rd, City 3/4 etc). You just sheliuns/crane, sheliuns/conduit, sheliuns/crane, sheliuns/revival, sheliuns/crane, sheliuns/conduit, sheliuns/crane and finally at the 8th dmg event only then are you dry. And at that point either boss is dead or you had a call for big defensives etc and at some point only used sheliuns.

@@ElbionTosscoble Thanks, so it's the lack of Conduit then indeed. I was worried there would maybe be siginificant other playstyle changes (like on my Shaman with Totemic vs Farseer), but it seems the main difference is the extra 'ow shit button'. I'm sticking to conduit for now while I learn MW. Watching these vids helps!

@@zerodivided3676There are some dungeons where the extra AoE isn’t as valuable as the extra damage. I have found myself not wanting to push conduit for better options or for just not needing the AoE healing. The utility that conduit provides, both after using conduit and passively while using your kit, can help a lot. In dungeons like CoT, I enjoy the extra AoE button, especially on the Slime boss, which is our weakest fight. In something like Mists, I run MoH. It’s really what you’re more comfortable with, but it’s very important to learn both.
