I got the Soulcards I and II because so many people loved them and... I hated them so much! I was ready to throw them out and then I started to create a tarot deck with them. I spent many hours assigning titles to them and ended up with a wonderfully harmonized full 78 card tarot theck that I love. The Fool - blue and pink girl with a butterfly, walking off the card, starting her blissfull new journey - is my favourite 'fool card' of all times

I do sunrise readings in autumn or winter because I'm a night person, but I like reading before 8am. I feel that some of the decks put here could also have an autumn vibe but maybe it's just me For summertime I'm feeling lazy so even though I have a few deck I use my two "comfort" decks (the pagan cat tarot which is more autumn-wintery feeling but I learned to read tarot with this one and the spacious tarot which feels like it can be pulled anytime but is perfect for summertime in my opinio' because you really have to reflect and put yourself in the cards so it's perfect for a lazy afternoon or a late time reading where you just take time to immerse yourself and don't necessarily need the book if you know tarot because it's very intuitive) One thing I want to do before the end of this summer (probably today for the first time) is a outdoor reading and a waterbody reading because I live nearby the beach and never thought about taking my cards there. Sorry I just feel like I'm oversharing it's just that you're comforting in a way??? So I can't help. Thank you for your time 🙏)

Thanks! I think it's great to involve our kids when they are young. It gets them understanding that they can develop these skills in life and normalizes introspection and taking a break to figure things out. Treasure those babies under feet. It goes too quickly!

Made me think of a cute red panda 😁 mkay now watch the tips Jez *_focus_* Sunrise readings are easy for night owls in the summer 😅 sunrise is the sign to go to bed 🌅🛌 All of these suggestions was great, definitely gonna be better at bringing my decks with me outside - I often bring my drum or flute, but almost never a deck of cards, this was a great call to find a deck to put in the drum bag, feel like the energy is what I need this summer. Maybe the moderne witch.

I've had my eye on Förhäxa for awhile even though I'm not into the Fae all that much...maybe that's why. It appears to have a good balance of light and dark, which I really like. Currently my summer decks are The Ocean Tarot/Ocean Arcanae, White Sage Tarot, Roots & Wings Oracle, Tarot of Trees and Anima Mundi Tarot.

Thank you for your wisdom on raising kids with Tarot. I have a 9 year old who loves to draw daily card. He was asking me what they mean, but recently I started asking him what he sees and how it makes him feel :) I use mostly Boo tarot with him, and before that the Modern witch , which might not be the most kid friendly deck, but I don't have a big collection, hehe. I am thinking of getting a decknfor him now. :))

I was curious.. It was Gershwin who was noted as the original on that line!

@@TarotandWitchery - yes, Gershwin wrote it. It's a part of the score for Porgy and Bess and was composed to be sung by a Black female character. It is in that context that I found it curious that - from among all of the prominent Black singers who have recorded it over the years prior to Joplin - you cited a white woman to be "quoting" from. It's all good. I just thought that was important to lift up. Just a fact worth knowing, is all.

@@TarotandWitchery We only get fleeting glimpses so I can’t tell if it’s gold or silver, but it’s a kind of higher set white ish stone…possible an Opal? It looks like in different light it may show color flashes. If not opal, maybe a lighter chalcedony or a moonstone?😁
