Just wondering, do you have good internet access where you are? If so, I was wondering if you use a cloud backup of your video files so you won’t have this problem in the future. As a electro - mechanical engineer myself I can understand that you strive for perfection in all you do ... having watched two of your videos (your Cabin build) and this one ... I have to congratulate you both on your great skills ... you make an excellent team working together as one. I just wish that when I was young I had done something like this it must be very satisfying to achieve all you have done together ... also the video editing to show everyone your work also the drone video is excellent too. HI I spent the last ten years of my carpenter career. Working with steel studs building apartments in high rise buildings. I always wanted to build a structure like a house with steele. Im enjoying your channel and your building skills. I am retired and my wife and I built our own home from the foundation up from 2016 to 2019. In 2020 I turned 65 and my wife 1 year younger. There is nothing more satisfying than building your own home. Looking forward to watching you young people building your new house and your future!

That is so cool, i got a taste for off-grid working from home using an Ecoflow River Pro which i recently did a review for, and its changed the way I see work now, there's no need to be stuck in an office for the rest of my life. Now the inspiration is to get an RV/Motorhome and work on the road and live off-grid.

One thing these 2 need to be commended on (compared to other time-lapse TH builds I've seen) is their attention to working at height. I've fallen from a height below my shouldre height (I'm 1.86cm /6.1'") and succeeded in fracturing my pelvis in three places ~ a significant proportion of workplace fatalities are because of falls and 95% of workplace fatalities are male.

Big Congratulations on the work you've done and how incredibly well you portrait it. So fun to watch, so addictive, even at the age of 60 I am ready to go and start my own small projects. So good to see that you are finding a balance, the two of you, living the project. We as a Belgian family, moved to Vancouver Island in 2000 but now that the kids are out and about I'm becoming restless again, thinking of living in Portugal part time, October till April or so. What you both do is wonderful, not easy, looks romantic but we all know better how real life works, your footage isn't showing any struggles at all, FANTASTICO

I share your joy at successfully installing the solar panels on your owner built new building !!! Regarding Eugenia's video at the end I would suggest that she fade out the music and SPEAK UP so that we can hear the dialogue. Remember that, for ENGLISH speakers, not only the SPEED, which Spanish speakers generally have, PLUS the ACCENT....we have trouble understanding.

Interesting video. I have a conventional house that is paid for here in SE US and retired. Put up a greenhouse and thought about a solar panel for it to run misters. Panel was only going to be $100, but for rest of support equipment was going to push total cost to over $350. Cheaper for me to run extension cord to it. Would never recover the costs for solar in my remaining life. You would have to replace batteries every several years to add to costs ! Will be interesting to see what happens with your home in 5, 10, 20 years and if you have kids whether that changes things.

I love the juxtaposition of the pure white vs black house forms. I preferred the white roof but certainly approve of the solar panels. The light inside of your workshop will be so beautiful for all the different uses you have planned for it. Wondering how the light inside the workshop will be affected by the solar panels.
