FYI....The poke bowl Originated in Hawaii. A few years back, a "poki bar" in Midwest got some local Hawaiians Bristling, claiming to having the trademark "rights'' on poke. Have lost track of the decision/ruling, they were forced to change their "claim to fame.".....To kanaka Maoli(Native-born Hawaiians) & residents of part-Hawaiian descent, A-l-o-h-a is More than "Hello'' & "Good-bye"....Aloha is a state of Mind, Heart, Spirit, a love for the land, sea, air & all that it encompasses. Aloha means embracing the Culture, People & History of this place I/We call 'Home"...Aloha is ALL that...And SOOOO Much More....No Hawaiians, No Aloha....Know Hawaiians, Know Aloha!

FYI... Clarification on some over Things to do.... 0:33...Lanikai=captioning says Lanakai...Mokulua islets, not Mokului. Mokulua=two islands Redfish Poke bar is not Foodland poke 3:05... Hanauma=Hah-now-ma 4:33...When hiking trails, use EXTREME caution, especially during winter/rainy season & after heavy rains. FYI...about Crouching Lion hike. Trail has Officially been closed/off limits since 2010 or so, due to deteriorating trail conditions. Prior to closure, there were multiple incidents of hikers being injured, some resulting in fatalities 4:55... Haleiwa=Hah-lay-ee-vah 7:50=Ho'omaluhia=Ho'omaluhia Botanical Gardens. Caption says Waianae This v-log, as a whole, is Very good in production quality but Please, Please, Please...double-check your information b4 posting & save alot of people unforseen headache

And almost none of the original Jurassic Park was filmed at Kualoa Ranch. Some of the sequels (but not all), but still far from saying this is where the series was filmed.

@Mahna Ghafori If you can't accept a comment on your video that corrects a statement, then I don't think you have any place calling someone else a negative nancy. My comment wasn't harsh or rude, nor did I rip your video to shreds. It was a good depiction of Oahu. It didn't focus on Waikiki and the quality was good; both of these are better than a lot of the Hawaii travel videos online. But, I've seen few hundred Oahu/Hawaii videos on KZbin and MANY of them repeat the same claims about Jurassic Park being filmed at the ranch. Most of this is because the ranch promotes it that way to create a place for tourists who don't realize it was one 2-minute scene. My goal is simply to let folks know this before they plan their (expensive) trip and spend money on something that is really not what is portrayed.

You lived here for a year? Hanauma Bay is pronounced Ha now ma You should have tried Off The Hook Poke when you went to the Manoa Falls hike. Koko Head is not actually a true hike
