If I remember right the mark 44 standicides used to not specify which melee is it worked for, it just said all shoulder charge abilities and because the ballistic slam seemed like a shoulder charge ability we never questioned why it worked. I think it was only recently that they actually specified the THREE shoulder charge abilities

Here’s one a lot of people I tell don’t know and maybe you’ve mentioned it but if you go to your shaders tab in your collections menu and preview a shader it also changes the colors of your exotic weapons. Meaning this is something that people have asked for that is in the game but not allowed to be used by the players.

You can animation cancel the invis hunter ‘smoke bomb dive’ by using it as you hit the ground meaning that the animation goes from a 1 second animation to an almost instant animation. Just something cool I found that’s really useful in trails to get an angle quickly :)

Im surprised not a lot of people know that armor piercing rounds makes that any weapon can do collats. (Its really rare that you get an collat with a auto or dmt for example but it can happen)

Overload rounds also negate certain buffs like restoration

@theknight660 Overload rounds do not disable buffs or debuffs, they merely slow down ability regen in pvp and reduce pve combatant abilities and reduces the damage dealt by overloaded enemies Restoration has no correlation to what overload rounds can do, test it and come back to me if I'm wrong.

Testudo, that gold shader from Season of the Chosen (when Caiatl was introduced) also disables glow effects, or at the very least makes the glow color black. Try it on the Mindstrider ornament for Transversive steps!

3:22 this is why the gun isn't really worth using on Heat Rises warlocks, you're basically nerfing the flight abilities you've already got in the kit. You get a massive slow in the air, even your Icarus dash won't override the slow, making you a free kill to anyone who can even slightly aim

My favorite armor combo for Chitin slate is the VOG titan mark, the moving vex glow starts to look like the twilight magic from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It's super unique.

If you're still doing the dreaming city portal areas which have time trials, in the one are where there is all those rotating rocks you need to jump down in order to reach to start the encounter, you can just melee-dive your way down there if you time your fall right while sprinting forward off the very top disc..

The wolf tone draw bow actually shows how much the arrow splits. On the left side of the sight three squares are placed, each with three different line formations, the bottom indicates a non taught line (max arrow split) , the middle shows a drawn arrow (med arrow split) ,and the top shows a ads arrow (no arrow split)

Number 11. I glacier cocooned myself on Bannerfall in a heated survival match by accident, and the enemy team either didn't know I was in the ice or didn't care to break me out. I then broke out after a few seconds and shot gunned two of them in the back. It was pretty funny.

@TDT, you can actually prevent fall damage with a sword just by blocking (you need ammo though). Blocking fall damage this way will also proc the Counterattack perk if the sword has it.

Testudo seems to shut off most glows on armor. I use it to make my black armory bond which is basically all glow into solid gold metal. Usually for trials tbh.

As a bubble titan you can negate fall damage and also fall faster by activating it after jumping off a cliff that has a fall that lasts longer than a second. Just after you activate the super it will cancel and you are refunded the super energy. Activating it again doesn't make you go faster though.

Imagine a game mode of 1 v 4, the player in the team of one had an infinite super + an overshield, the team of 4 has only the objective to kill the super, the team of 4 have to strategically band together in order to stand a chance. The game mode could be called goliath found in the crucible playlist.

When using a glaive, hold the shield button to keep jabbing & not doing the 2nd animation. It allows for continuous hits on yellow bars.

Number 3: Thundercrash speed can also be increased by shoulder charge, making it very useful when you have a Peregrine Greaves setup for PVP and not Dunemarchers or Synthoceps setup.

Ok, here's some stuff I've found: 1. Chiro Chi, if you look straight down and push forward on your controller you're knocked back about a 1/4 of the amount if you were looking up and pushing forward--I suspect it's that way with all knockback effects. 2. If you're looking down and land flat you can survive a fall from any height. 3. I'm sure most people know that you don't need a fully drawn Trinity Ghoul shot if it's charged to kill ads and such, but it never hurts to put it out there.

Testudo shader also disables the glow of armor, I personally like it with the hunter helmet that came out with Halloween a few years ago. The werewolf themed one. It makes the eyes white and the head black.

Regarding the shader thing, Crucible Metallic is another shader that removes glowy things. I'm not sure to what extent but I run a certain helmet (I forgot the name but it's from the Season of the Lost) that has its eyes become metallic when applying the Crucible Metallic.

The "mobile gathering storm" also works with ruinous effigy's ball. Create a ball throw you gathering storm melee at said ball then pick ball up and have a mobile gathering storm. Also because the ball doesn't take damage you can use this trick the entire super duration unlike a sparrow.

Regarding the sword swing at the last second on huge falls, I sparrow dodge at the last second all the time, especially when spawning into the EDZ that has the huge tunnel entrance that leads to the north zone? I always sparrow out of that spawn off the cliff to land in the gorge below (the gorge that goes between it and xur's area) and sparrow dodge to avoid damage..

There is a unique interaction between a shader (Don't remember name, looks like bloodied white) and the Mask of Bakris Beastly Visage ornament that causes the eyes to flash on and off as if the power is fading from it.

Pretty sure that shader does that with every item that has glowing sections, even things you wouldn't expect like the ambient glow of your Sparrow engines (not the trail). It's not the only shader that does a pulsing effect on the glow, either.

i forget the name of the shader but there's another one that does the glow disable, but its a little more inconsistent than chitin slate. its a season of the chosen shader, has gold and like turquoise i think? i believe its called testudo or something. it *occasionally* has yellow glows, but more often than not it makes the glow blank.

I've got an obscure fact, you can cancel wing of sacred dawn's limited mobility, while still maintaining its "hold you in place" buff by just hitting jump again while ADS and midair (works best with strafe glide)

Also with whirlwind guard there is a small chance that bullets will just pass right through or blocking at the right will cause any projectiles to be stuck inside the guard damn near insta killing you if you dont release the block fast enough.

Number 8 Bonus: The fall damage can also be denied by riding sparrow, then boosting to the side before hitting the ground. It is also possible to land it on sparrow too without the side boost thing, but most likely it'll fail and explode.

2 shaders I know of are photo finish that gives glowing parts a cycle through colours and scarlet semblance a double pulse of red. As for the manticore charging on damaging world items and titan walls etc the perk does literally say it charges from causing damage from the ground, you're dealing damage to the walls/bubbles so that just makes sense that it'd do that cuz you're dealing damage to its health bar. As a long time titan main you’re not doing the ballistic slam on number 3 right. You need to let it fly as long as possible. Only thundercrash right before you hit the ground. The boost is much greater.
