Also like 7 years ago i flew on a Biman DC-10 (the time when it ACTUALLY went to New York). Since the aircraft was so old, the one giant tv screen was broken, lol.

Fantastic camera work! Love that 787, I use to think they were horribly ugly, but over the last couple years they have really grown on me. Had a tour of the cockpit at work, man that flight deck is something else.

Harry After the cargo door issue was fixed, the DC-10 had the engine loss @ ORD on the American and the Hydraulic issue when the GE engine blew over Iowa... both of these crashes led to improvements on ALL aircraft. Afterwards, the DC-10 was a remarkably safe aircraft. The MD-11 was designed with a small tail for fuel efficiency but unknowingly created a danger when landing. Now they land faster but still have the same tail. The DC-10 is a MUCH safer plane than the MD-11... but the MD-11's are much newer & fuel efficient... and fantastic load workhorses. I love them both...
