I absolutely love how for lance we'll now have more varied attacks to blend between instead of reverting to the 3 standard pokes and the dash. The shield was always supposed to be more useful in offense and I'm stoked they focused in on it.

->2 Block animations at the beginning has blue glow and cirlce motion of insta block >(0: 25) there is a new combo finisher. (time stamps of the trailer video not the review) ->0: 20) you can hop while poking. ->(0: 27) adept block into Shield attack . Has blue glow (meaning perfect guard) ->(0: 30) powerguard counter has a way better animation now and a second follow up that leads into the charge attack. ->and you dont use counter thrust to get into power guard anymore ->(0: 43) Focus mode attack looks similar to shield charge from sunbreak with the lance finisher. -> (0: 51) and the clash was shown !!!!!!! -> !!!!!!!!!! (at 0: 46) normally with counter thrust the shield would be raised all the time but it only blocks at the las moment. But that is the charge up you would normally see on charged counter thrust. So they might have combined counter thrust with insta block. (basically a chargable multi hit thrust that can parry an icmomming attack mid charge)!!!!!!!! a lot of people ssem to mis this (also has blue glow/perfect block)

All I wanted to see was cross counter. That move is SOOOOOO satisfying in Rise and I'm sad it didnt make it. Unless theres more to the moveset they aren't showing yet

These three are the weapons Im gonna end up playing. One of the DB or Lance + Bow. Unless Bow is again so skill hungry. Then I'll go BGs. Also the Bow's Focus Attack is straight up taken from Dragons Dogma 2. In that game, its used by the Magic Archer, and eats you HP to deal more damage. There, its so strong it can kill any enemy in one charge. Literally any of them.

Way too excited for the bow, man. Thought this was gonna finally be the modern MH game where I don't main bow (Longsword, Dual Blades or Charge Blade mainly in older ones, or Magspike/Tonfas in Frontier.) then trailer dropped and that completely changed lmao. At least we can bring two weapons to hunts now, so that should help!

I have a feeling that the db counter, and many other counters in wilds are gonna be like a perfect evade from monster hunter now, if anyone has played it. Basically time I frames like in rise with no evade window and get a special attack/buff.

wild will be wild they gave as some new move and old move and reworked moves , they shoved everything in this game and i like it , this is why i loved rise sunbreak

I hope Bow keeps the shot type layout from old MH and Rise, i didn't like that in World every Bow was the same and how there wasn't even Pierce outside of Dragonpiercer. Other than that Bow looks good.
