@@suzettebavier4412 Probably because the judges realised he was too young to take on his shoulders all that would come with being a winner. It's not just a case of making recordings, he is still at school and has his future to think about in case his "show business side" doesn't take off. He will be nurtured by Simon over the coming years if he thinks he can be huge but he just can't be thrown into the cesspit of media manipulation and people who will eat him alive. Also he's only 14 so his voice could break within the next year or two so he may not be capable of making recordings after that.
