Hehe yes, you could imagine him playing 3-4 games, like uhh... moves on one board, then steps to the side, moves on the next, steps to the side and so on... right? As kids our minds are so flexible... clearly this kid can analyse a game without any prior thought, and come up with good moves.

Wade Alexander the goal of the game is to make it so the king piece can’t move anymore. The king piece isn’t allowed to make any move that would put it in a position where the opponent’s following move would remove your king. Maybe you already knew this but that’s the objective of the game

please help. why was there not checkmate earlier? what's stopping mate at 6:43 with white rook c8, black rook takes c8, white queen takes c8, black rook takes c8, white rook takes c8 with checkmate?
