What different times that were. I am thinking if America would not have gotten so insane on law enforcement and prosecuting 'drug trade', prices of the stuff would never have reached such high levels due to plenty of availability and times would always have remained more innocent - without the deadly, professional hard crime organisations that behave like rogue armies. There wouldn't have been that kind of money in it.

Frank this proves out what i have found to be true, if you are thankful and and helpful without attitude you will be treated with respect. In other words, give respect get respect. Quite the adventure you had there, looks like it was a good time all around. Except for the beater van crapping out. I think part of the helpful way you were treated, had a great deal to do with the area. Things could have gone very badly for you being a gringo. I'm sure they knew that - as did you. I use to live in rural zacatecas Mexico. And yes there are great people out there. But they are also pretty poor out there. The government dont care about them. The people would do anything for money. Plus all the evil witch craft out there. Maybe lots of people are possessed. My stepfather that I live with out there, his cousin got his head cut off by the local cartel. It got really crazy out there really fast.

Yes Frank I gotta agree you are the best. Your videos are of the utmost quality and your knowledge of mines, geology and exploration is top notch. I would enter into any mine with you Captain. As a solo technical scuba diver who dove for the sake of exploring and collecting artifacts I see you are in Mexico by yourself, I think. Good for you, it is what I had to do because there are very few people who would do this type of thing. That's why I dove alone. The places I've seen at 200 ft. people have never seen before and that was quite a large part of my love. Anyway like I've said before your lack of bluster and need to build your ego makes you the best man for this job. "Your ego can kill you" I've always taught my divers. Self reliance will save you. Both of my tech instructors are drowned from entrapments so I've retired from deep diving now and live in Mexico. Luckily there are mines to explore, haciendas to roam and lovely people. I have friends in the villages because that is where my mujer is from. We live in San Luis Potosi, San Luis Potosi Mexico. You're welcome anytime. paulbrown2788@gmail.com.

Enjoyed this episode Frank you got some excellent footage of the bats and the bat you captured a close-up of was looking right back at you. The pick-up truck in the mine is certainly a first, especially when there wasn’t anything else left in there. Had to laugh when the dry feet rule superseded the right-hand rule, but you went back an finished up with wet feet anyway. Although it was scary to hear that the Police will not go into the area, it put a different perspective on the situation when the locals offered you help and hospitality - just wonderful. It was cool to see you having some down-time, filming the crocks and the person hydroflying - they were really good at it too. Thank you Frank. Take care 👍 ❤️

This is just how my people from Mexico are. Especially when you are away from the big cities I think it’s just because these places are more isolated and it’s people making a living off of things like this. When I go visit my family in Michoacán most of the people who live there en el Rancho are farmers or work at their house selling chips/sodas/Water/ really about anything you could need. Plenty of them make food to sell. All good people they always say hello to each other when passing by one another like “good evening” or saying buenas noches which means good night in English but in Spanish they say it as a greeting like meaning hope you’ve had a good night or just yeah as a greeting. Btw if you want a Mexican to take your money when they are good people like this you have to insist more than once by the third time they will take it or won’t.

If you isolate accidents and natural causes and look at just murders it's 1 person murdered every 30 minutes, 24/7.

@@pederb82 Just for perspective, it depends on WHERE in the US you are. In the capital city of my state, they average around 40 murders a year. I'm glad your Mexico videos are getting more attention this season. I always find the international mines interesting... Some things are the same everywhere and other things are quite different in the mines. Did you fly down to Mexico with your oxygen meter? I was thinking it would be going off continuously on a plane since changes in pressure/elevation seem to set them off... I can just imagine getting hauled in for questioning because you have some suspicious device beeping away like a time bomb that freaked out other passengers. So, I've just been going without mine overseas, but, obviously, it would be nice to have.
