Great video! Enjoyed having Roger along on this one. You should have a follow up on the samples taken and see what the assay reports say, or a further explanation of the rock samples that were brought back. It's always interesting to learn how the miners decide what rocks to mine and their techniques in moving the ore around.

Frank, there's always a first for everything - breaking in to a mine! Although it was your only option to break though the ice otherwise it would have been a very short explore. The ice formations were beautiful. You made some nice finds too like the ore cart, the 3 way track switch and the miner's art depicting a mule pulling a cart. Hope you get the opportunity to explore some more levels. Thank you Frank and Rodger. Stay safe 👍 ❤️

“Gly”: The mines I’ve explored over the last six months have allot of great geology but none of them have the amount of left behind artifacts, tools and equipment compared to Canadian mines. That’s what makes watching your videos so much damn fun Frank. That three way track switch was a very cool find.

Great explore! Exploration 101: Always step at the sides of stairs, ladders and ramps. Wood, steel or composite. They all deteriorate. Watched two kids exploring a rusted out mine Mill. On the third floor, they would step through the steel flooring at every step. I kept yelling at them to stay over the beams, but they wouldn't listen. Kids!

I fell through a false floor this week lucky it was only 6 feet but landed in muddy water.

@@exploringabandonedmines I will keep two extra fingers crossed for you. Couldn't hurt.... The worst are those you think to be reasonably OK, but at the first step it disappears and there is no sound of anything hitting bottom and the darkness just makes it worse. As they paratroops say, "You have the rest of your life to think about it."
