140 - Garden Upgrade -- No More Rabbits - Making a Garden

In this video I replace the old sun damaged and rabbit chewed fencing with new fencing. Come along and join me as I move dirt and garden soil, cut rails on the sawmill, install new fencing and make new garden beds.

Spending time outdoors doing projects with various machines and tools - anything from cutting trees, firewood, clearing brush, milling wood, plowing snow, reviewing, repairing & fabricating equipment. Doing landscaping and maintenance on my forested property using my Kubota tractor.
And its not all work!! Gotta take time to play - after turning my pond into a skating rink, and a whole bunch more of outdoor activities.

Nice job. Looks like a fun project. It's great you have all those cedar materials. I really liked you standing on the bucket to get a little extra height. Good idea.

I need to get a sawmill!! Darn rabbits. We were overrun with them a few years back but haven't seen one in a while, but now we have groundhogs hanging around eyeing up my garden lol. Great job on the fence. Take care

That should do the trick. I’m kind of surprised that I have very few rabbits around here. They rarely show up on the trail cameras. My biggest issue is the deer. And occasionally the neighbours cows. They will eat everything! Have a good weekend Paul!

Thanks. The water can't pool since the garden bank on one side slopes away and the other side is flat. It's designed with a high side that acts like a windbreak to protect the plants.

Paul, my hat is off to you! 🫡 I gave up on veggie gardening years ago. I kept losing the battle with the groundhogs. I had even extended chicken wire 12" below ground, and they ate right through it!
