Brother if you look at the Blue letter Bible for Deutironomy 28:68 strong H7069 for the word no one shall buy you. the work buy you is Kaw-Naw which means Redeem. So if Some thing was sold I would have to buy it back Thats what it means when it says no one shall buy you. i was sold and no one buy me back out of who i was sold to. The way it was word is old english and phraseology. Notice it did not say 'and there you shall try to sell yourself and no one shall buy you" It uses the word sold which is which is the past tense of sell or selling. Sold means the transaction was finalized meaning they did buy you. Thats why you have to understand old english and look up the hebrew word that was used in that verse. Of course now blacks found out we are the isarelite now they are problem with the book

According to the general consensus of scholarship *(even critical Christian scholars),* YHWH was originally incorporated into the Canaanite pantheon as a son of the Canaanite high god El before inheriting the top spot in the pantheon and El's wife Athirat (Asherah) before religious reforms "divorced" them. If you want to see if El is fictional, just read his mythology in the Ugaritic/Canaanite texts. "The mysterious Ugaritic text Shachar and Shalim tells how (perhaps near the beginning of all things) *El* came to shores of the sea and saw two women who bobbed up and down. *El* was sexually aroused and took the two with him, killed a bird by throwing a staff at it, and roasted it over a fire. He asked the women to tell him when the bird was fully cooked, and to then address him either as husband or as father, for he would thenceforward behave to them as they called him. They saluted him as husband. He then lay with them, and they gave birth to Shachar ("Dawn") and Shalim ("Dusk"). Again *El* lay with his wives and the wives gave birth to "the gracious gods", "cleavers of the sea", "children of the sea". The names of these wives are not explicitly provided, but some confusing rubrics at the beginning of the account mention the goddess *Athirat (Asherah),* who is otherwise *El's* chief wife, and the goddess Raḥmayyu ("the one of the womb"), otherwise unknown." *"First, a god named El predates the arrival of the Israelites into Syria-Palestine.* Biblical usage shows El was not just a generic noun, but often a proper name for Israel’s God (e.g., Gen 33:20: “El, the God of Israel”)." Any other construal of the text would constitute its rewriting.* A Sumerian hymn speaks to the goddess: “Nanshe, your divine powers are not matched by any other divine powers.” *Does this mean that Nanshe was the high goddess, that there were no gods above her? The word buy is redeem in this passage. To redeem someone is to buy their freedom. Only Christ bought our freedom that's it by redeeming us and over a period of time we would be free from chattel slavery and then free from this bondage of wage enslavement. The King James version of the Bible is the only Bible that's not copy written. The NIV is full of willful and evil writings that been added to the scriptures to change there meaning, and also remove whole passages of the scriptures that should be there. I think you need to do a bit more research on this and not to take a man's word for it. You think you know something but you don't know it all.

With all due respect my brother You should post a video of the scholars who disagree so we can come to our own conclusion. Everything the guy from Yale said sounded profound and was well articulated. I've heard every argument that guy has made before and I've seen point by point very convincing evidence to refute each of his claims. I encourage people to literally get a notepad and write down each of the claims the guy made and research the opposing view and come to your own conclusion . Otherwise the guy from Yale will end up being your Messiah. Even if I disagree with someone I can learn from them if I respect their methodology and how they arrive at their conclusion. i think one of the biggest things i realized a few years ago is that the Bible is a manuscript dealing with things dimensionally. Mostly astrological but also medicinal, mechanical, biological and topographical but uses known people and places to encrypt ideas. Lots of lifting from other cultures and i think the collaboration is using those ideas as place holders for deeper meanings, or maybe it was always that way. I think the stories serve as edificies for ideas that have almost nothing to do with the face value of the story what so ever. the problem is 99% of people dont realize this and believe the face value and construct their lives based off the literalization of these stories. if only we could read the way it was intended to be read and honor the multi cultural lens it actually is!
