Thank goodness my grandfather taught me financial literacy. He went and bought a 2023 Silverado in cash and showed me how much he would have paid if he financed it. I bought a certified preowned car a few years ago for half the msrp with only 19k on it and it came with a factory 80k, 5 year warranty. Took three years to pay it off. A good, reliable car doesn’t need to break the bank. Maybe it’s a Honda but it won’t leave you broke.

Yea Michon, the whole reason I’ve been working two jobs for the past 10 months was to pay off all my CC debt (Done) and also to help with a down payment on a new vehicle this summer. So first, in the test drives/shopping I’ve done recently, if you have excellent credit (750+) you can finance a vehicle for as low as 0%. Or maybe 3.8% for 48 months. Her payments DEFINITELY show she’s in the 400’s credit zone…. Second, I was talking to one of the 20 something’s at my 2nd job a few months ago and showed her some of the vehicles I was looking at. Roll up to recently she asked which one did I pick. I told her I was saving for a decent sized down payment AND watching the market cuz new vehicle prices are starting to come down. She knows I have a primary job that pays well over “Kendra Caller Minimum Wage” and she says, “I don’t get it. You can afford it now so why not just get one now? I know I couldn’t wait. IF I WANT IT I GET IT….” That last line is most people… Also, in this clip this lady tried to claim she is underwater on her truck, but is “getting rid of it” and getting an Audi by paying cash. There is NO mathematical way that is happening unless someone passed and she got something in the will. She sounds just as delusional as the Kendra crowd… SMDH…. #WEJUDGE 🫡🫡✊🏽✊🏽
