You have a great love for black. And it’s not my favorite color. But every time you use it I think that’s just beautiful! So let me tell you that’s just beautiful! The first time I made a bowl I took it off a little too soon and I also ended up with those organic looking slight drips personally I love them and most people comment about them positively! Love this vase! I also can see it shorter with a huge bunch of spring flowers in it . This one needs some tall flowers like roses lilacs and tulips etc... It turned out so pretty. Love watching you come up with new fthings all the time.

I used blow dryer, blow torch and even iron over a thick sheet to straighten out the plastic. It all works! Try it sometime!

I owned a fabric and craft store for years and have been a designer and seamstress as long. Toss the plastic in a warm dryer for a few minutes and check it every 5 minutes or so. Once it feels soft and flexible lay it out somewhere flat and allow it to cool off. Roll it loosely once cool and you're ready to go for the next time. Eventually you'll want to spritz it with mold release because it will gain scratches and start to have sticky spots. Spay it after you lay down the instant mold. It will last you for years and years!

I heard the best tip of using a clear shower line on the bottomr they are very easy to remove wrinkles for reusing too cleaning the resin releases with ease.

Julie - You never disappoint! This is definitely Top Shelf!! (Years ago in most USA bars the best booze was kept on the top shelf. That way a bartender couldn't 'accidentally' grab and serve the good stuff.) I like the unexpected, taller black resin - it resembles a smoky mist floating upward.

It’s beautiful! I love the rim too! Brilliant idea to make a silicone free form! I was honestly surprised that it held the resin so perfectly. I’ve watched so many wooden forms leak that were taped and siliconed on others projects.. gallons of resin all over the floor. Triple bagged wood and resin bowls that ended up permanently affixed to the inside of a pressure pot. But you absolutely pulled it off! Love it! You’ll have to let us know if the hot water works with the plastic. Great job!
