We're here to share just a small part of our simple lifestyle in Setouchi, Japan. The end of summer 2020, we bought a Japanese style old house! It's in a rural area in Kagawa prefecture, older than 100 years! Really really old and has a bunch of problems... but the house looks very cool. So, we've just started renovating and trying country living for the first time :D

If you take a damp cloth and wipe the wood surface, it makes the wood grain more porous and easier to stain. You can still wipe off the excess stain in order to see the wood grain, but you’ll have a smoother finish. Just an option lol! I love your videos❤! I get to learn new stuff too!
