There was one innovation that slowed LPL down though: the tactic of providing an interesting introductory letter slowed LPL down by 90 seconds. I'm going to up my security game by sticking "Dear LPL" notes on all my locks from now on, I feel safer already... .

As a young and curious kid "about 8 years old" I attempted to replicate what I've seen in movies when they pick locks. My target was a masterlock. I took one of my sisters Bobby pins and just raked it all around the keyway as a complete novice would do. It opened to my surprise. So in a nutshell, even an 8 year old can pick a masterlock.

As a young kid, I got curious about our neighbor's padlock that used those rotating knobs for password. I wasn't trying to rob them or anything, just was bored and started playing with it when no one was around. I was just dialing random numbers for a couple of minutes, when I noticed that some digits felt a bit different when you dial them. I knew absolutely nothing about locks, but just for fun, I set all the knobs to the digits that somehow felt different to me. And the lock opened. I actually got very scared as if I committed a crime, and ran away. I never got in trouble for that, so it's just a fun memory now.

The way it curves around the edges at a glance looked something like the cheap cammo duct tape I've seen at Walmart, and the bunching of black at the bottom at 1:45 looked like a haphazard taping job. While typing this comment, I looked it up and it is actually a cheap plastic shell that pops off. Amazon has them marked down to $9 from $14. The reviews are not great, referring to the cammo and weatherproofing not holding up well. There aren't any LPL related comments yet but sadly people will probably spam it with those in time.

That saying has always been flawed to me. Because a truly honest person wouldn’t take something that’s not theirs regardless of whether it was locked or not. What it really comes down to is making it an inconvenience for your average thief. Sure LPL can open just about every bike lock he’s shown on here in seconds, but your average bike thief can’t pick any locks and will instead cut through chains, so getting a lock that is harder to cut is the best way to go.

Normally, DSS and the military do not like keyed locks. The combo locks cost a lot of money, and require a certified locksmith. Making a lock hard to find actually seems like a good idea, imo. Like imagine if a door lock was built into the door frame so it couldn't be seen from certain angles, painted white and everything. @@ossiehalvorson7702 "Security through obscurity" is considered bad practice because it usually doesn't add any layer of measurable security. It does add time to a scenario, where the aggressor has to overcome the obscurity, but that usually requires less skill or intelligence to overcome than an additional layer of security. I'm sure there are some scenarios where time spent looking for the hidden keyhole might be an advantage, but a skilled adversary will watch to see where the owner uses the key, thus overcoming the obscurity.

This world is rapidly passing away and I hope that you repent and take time to change before all out disaster occurs! Belief in messiah alone is not enough to grant you salvation - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36) if you believed in Messiah you would be following His commands as best as you could. If you are not a follower of Messiah I would highly recommend becoming one. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life - Revelation 3:20. Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God. Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!

@@bannah6400 You know, normally I'd take issue with the claim that all the world leaders have been conspiring to hide the history of the world for longer than most of the accurate recorded history of the world, especially during time periods when long distance communication was deeply impractical, but instead I'm going to ask... Why is this response *here*? Is there some aspect of the wry response to situational humor that proves someone doesn't follow your particular interpretation of, uh, I assume Christianity? And if not, why are you telling someone who could easily be a believe in what you consider a valid sect that they need to repent?
