This electric board was a board that I found more attractive after riding it. I just replaced my gears with new bearings in it.I did have bearings,so tiny, all over inside the grease and the gear teeths.I was repacking the gears and saw one gear was shedding on top and it was loose.Only one gear bearing exploded inside.Ordered New $99 package that has everything including extra bearings that goes into the 3 gears.Now the only way to prevent problems is to change the gear bearings every 1600 - 1800 miles.Some of the bearings was stuck inside so one has to knock it out.Very easy.The bearings are harder than the gears and will melt into the gears as not to lock it up.I did replace the front bearings around 400 miles because of vibration.Vibration gone.While I had one loose Gear drive with the bearings all over inside,I still rode about 3 miles ( grocery shopping) before I got the parts.It didn't shattered or blowup or stops me cold.When I was done,The finished side was spinning freely than the other one which I will replace with new parts today...Just keep the battery at 50% charged...Always!!!!!!...The $99 package comes with extras bearings and Extra main big bearings.

Had this exact board and it lasted only 300 miles before one motor failed. After replacing the motor, one of the gear drives failed, instead of rebuilding it I sold it and bought a Kaly XL2.0. Also, it was the LOUDEST board I've owned.

I got one and got 200 miles before the battery completely failed. I got 6 miles conservatively brand new. Now I'm trying to find an esc and battery to get it going again.

@@koreywebb7383 Before the battery failed..did the remote beep a few times because you have more to go but its not recommended then it will shut down.Only once in 3 years for me.I got home right away and charged it right away,Battery still good.

I had ecomobl et as my first board. Swapped deck out for landyachtz evo 41 because stock one felt very unstable at speed. Also stock bushings were little too soft for me.

I switched my bushing out to venom starting to get more speed out of board and learning to put more weight on front trucks at high speeds to prevent wobbles. I use mine to commute to work.

I have no problems with the stock bushings,I didn't use the Tool that comes with it,You must use your own wrench to go down farther and tighten it down more,I never get speed wobbles even running over rocks and cracks with the stock bushings.

Had mine for legit 1 day, worked fine but then the next day was going about 25mph when the motor cut out and it has been doing that ever since, currently reaching out to customer service

The ET has 35 amps..The ET2 is 50 amps.All I can say is replace gears bearings around 1600 miles.There is a video on how to replace the gears.

Im at 2000 miles right now.Great board.The ET esc I have before the ET2 is 50 amps.Now its 35 amps esc and the 50 amps moved to ET2

@@KAMiJUINs My Eovan had a bad deck and other issues that they never fixed. I had to purchase a new deck and battery case after only 6 months of use. Lots of problems for a brand new board with very low hours.

Love all your videos! Have you ever thought about getting a chase drone for some of the shots? I have a Skydio 2 and it can track you visually and with a remote. It stands out because of the crazy obstacle avoidance it has. They may have a KZbin review program so you could maybe get it free to review as well. Cheers!

Thank you for the information. However, Korea is in a truce with North Korea, so there are extremely limited places to fly drones for military and other reasons. Especially in Seoul, where I live, I have to apply for permission whenever I operate a drone. However, I've thought that Skyduo2 is a really good drone for ESK8

*Budget planetary gear drive* 😲 ⚡⚡⚡⚡ pretty loud 😭 but I like this, wide rkp trucks. Definatelt think pneumatics would have been the better default option, I guess they wanted to keep it simple. I am shocked it's under $1,000, at a time when many brands prices for this type of board is goin up and up. 👏🏼👏🏼

I know! I had a kooswheel and that wasnt hardwired into the battery and it was $800 with skateboard wheels,and that board was a hard riding because of the wheels are not made to handle roads,sidewalks,rocks at 20 mph -30 mph.The Ecomobl ET with 50 amps is great and does everything the opposite of Koos.When the ESC shorted out on the koos,$800 down the drain,Then the Stimulus check came and i got the Ecomobl for under $1000...it was $899 free shipping.

Gear drive doesn't give you better acceleration or better response than a belt drive, that's non sense. Unless everything is exactly the same like weight, wheel hardness, gearing, motor amps, battery amps, remote, ramping time then you cannot compare. And it's one of those that makes it react differently. The big difference is that when a belt snaps, which is rare, you just put a new one on and keep riding, but when these gears shatter, you are screwed and walking home. These planetary gear drives are nothing special and I see many ecomobl users having problems with them soon. I think that was a bad choice and a covered belt drive or a regular steel gear drive would have been a way better option.

The sound produced by the gearbox was louder than the motor's own noise, also it compared to other driving methods. I think there will be differences in personal preferences for the sound.~
