Max 6 was one of the entry-level boards with a high level of product completion. I felt that it was a beginner-friendly board due to its highly stable movement and easy-to-handle power performance. In addition, the fact that it is a belt drive that allows the use of various types of wheels and that the board is made of easy-to-maintain materials were also felt to be advantages. If you are looking for an entry-level belt drive board with unique design elements, the Max 6 is a board worth considering.

Make the wheelbase shorter. Bring the front wheel further inwards if you can. And also the back wheel further inward if you can. Bring the front + back wheels closer to each other. The shorter the wheelbase the more control you will have. Currently the whole framing is too long. The skate length + wheels are gripping your whole body weight & legs down to the ground. Your legs become very tiring & fatigue being force down in that stiff position by the skate when you move. As you accelerate you dont have much control/freedom to manoeuvre freely. If you can try to find wheels that has lesser contact patch. Meaning = narrower wheels are better. Not wide wheels. Currently in the market the narrowest wheels I can think of are Orangatang Kegels : 56mm. Mad Wheels are too wide at 70mm. I hope you will succeed again.

If you frequently move around with a board in your daily life, I think this is an item worth considering. Thanks for the review. Would love a lightweight 120mm thane wheel but 78a duro doesn't do it for me. Would love duro that's 72a to 74a for added grip. Bigger wheels= more top speed, needing more grip, traction and stopping power.
@KAMiJUINs
@KAMiJUINs 8 күн бұрын
In my experience, these wheels had a hardness of 78A, but the grip and traction felt better compared to the hardness. I think it's worth a try, especially if you were planning to choose FE120 wheels. And thank you for watching :)

@KAMiJUINs Thanks for the reply. I love my cloudwheel rovers 110mm as they sit right between thane and pneumatics. My mad wheels v2 72a are the most plush thane with excellent grip. I'm looking for a larger thane wheel that can provide a similar ride to the mad v2. 120mm cloudwheel FE sounds like it could be but I doubt at 78a they will do it.

Hello, I have some Trampa 9inch Primo Striker wheels, which website says fits 4 inch rims like the trampa phatlads. I used Acedeck 4.17inch rims, but the diameter needs to be 4.5 inches to fit unfortunately. Do you know how Trampa rims fit their bigger tires, despite having smaller diameter than the Acedeck rims? I am so confused, thank you. I reached out to Trampa but they never responded. Edit: Or if you could measure the diameter of the rims on the extreme all terrain board, that would help!

Do you think that the risk of delamination from the core is less likely than the current 105 Clouds?
@KAMiJUINs
@KAMiJUINs 9 күн бұрын
Well. I guess I'll have to ride it for a longer period of time to find out. However, in my view, in the case of the previous Discovery, all the weight from the narrow contact patch was received at a specific point on the core, but in the current FE series, the flat and wide contact patch seems to distribute the pressure received by the core to some extent.

1. Wheels with large diameters, such as pneumatic tires, require a lot of torque. So most boards use a gear ratio greater than 4 when using pneumatic tires. Simply put, when the motor rotates 4 times, the wheel rotates once. As a result, power consumption is much greater than that of small gear ratios and small-diameter PU wheels. 2. In addition to the above, even if the rider's weight becomes only about 10kg heavier, the range difference becomes much larger. 3. Also, even if you ride the same board, there can be a lot of range differences depending on the rider's weight or riding style (aggressive acceleration, high-speed riding / low-speed cruising, etc.)
