its a beautiful village my cousin was a manager of one of them S of m i remember traveling on the double deck bus 45 northern to Hartlepool when i was a young lad i would sit front on top seats from the top of the village bank snaking down to the bus stop shoulder of mutton it was scary always thought the bus would topple over the bus drivers were mad it was great fun for them i was born in little thorp hospital great to hear from you yes great times have been lost great times are coming back bro

Hi Joseph, were you around Easington Village in the early to late 60's? If so, my wife was bought up in Easington, lived on Seaside Lane, her parents owned Millar's Coffee Bar next door to the Hippodrome Picture House. Her Dad had an Ice Cream van Micky Millar's Irish Ices.
