The nature and the light there are outstanding. Especially the islands Rømø and Fanø are wonderful. But also the coast itself is just beautiful. 😄

May have cried a little. We live in Germany too, not too far from the coast actually (it's roughly a two hour drive!), but we never take the time to visit the sea. We really don't have the time. It breaks my heart. I wish I could see the sea more often. Maybe I will someday. It makes me so happy to see you guys enjoy your life so much. Makes me feel like wonder and happiness isn't completely out of reach ^^

Wie schön dieses Video ist, wie schön diese Insel...ich bin in Stralsund aufgewachsen, mit der Fähre oft nach Hiddensee gefahren, Klassenfahrten, Betriebsfahrten...als junge Menschen in den 80igern zum Tanzen im Dornbusch, dann zum schlafen Nähe Leuchtturm ( war nachts verboten -> DDR- Grenze Speerzone, und auch die Kreuzotter wohnte zahlreich dort) endete teilweise mit stärkeren Kontrollen und Inselverbot ! ....oder mal mit Freunden per Segelboot. Das ist schon so lange her...ich habe nun Sehnsucht bekommen, ich muss da mal hin im Herbst oder Frühling.Dankeschön❤️

I love this! Being born and raised in Germany, having seen most every part of Germany, whilst having been to 20+ countries, being in Germany has always brought me the most boredom of them all. I love the town I call my home but I have to leave so often because it’s not enough for me. Not special enough. Too ordinary. This romanticism of Hiddensee (I‘ve been there twice) was a very nice treat to try and see the most normal place on earth (for me) turn into something special. It was also very nice too see the light house again I was prohibited to set foot upon when I was 6 due to my height and I threw an absolute tantrum😂 Good memories. Thank you for the video❤

The other day we went to a shop where I found a build your own music box that looked like a piano. My children made it and we listened to the song. To me it sounded like a studio ghibli song. I went through all the songs until I came across it in Castle in the Sky. Have you played any songs from that movie? My children's favourite is Ponyo, my favourite studio ghibli is My Neighbour Totoro.

I lived in Germany for a couple of years many years ago. I longed to go these islands. But sadly at the time, it wasn't possible. My family was stationed at Spangdahlem. It's a district of Bitburg. At that time there were restrictions for Americans to travel. My daughter was born in a Bitburg hospital; so grateful for my doctor as I was a high risk.
