147- La Malbaie Canada | Visit of the city + the village Pointe au Pic

In this vlog discover La Malbaie and Pointe au Pic in Canada with me
I'll show you around the city, the village, the beach and the Sentier des Planètes
In 1608 when Samuel de Champlain discovered this bay he realized that it was full of mud and therefore decided to name it the evil bay (in 2 words) which is where its name comes from.
The village gained town status in 1958, other small villages were then merged there and today the town is populated by more than 9,000 inhabitants.
It is still quite small and it is only once along the river that you appreciate its charm, but the real point of attraction is in the village of Pointe au Pic.
Pointe au Pic:
In fact, this place is on the list of exceptional villages in the region.
It will take you about 30 minutes to walk from the information point to get there.
There is a first street lined with beautiful houses with at the end a beautiful church with an incredible large pointed bell tower, then after passing the rails head to the left then at one point go down a slope which leads towards the bay because there is a second part of the village with a white wooden footbridge and a bunch of colorful houses that look like construction sets, this street runs along the railway and La Malbaie station
You won't fail to discover the great little bar/snack "Chez Chantal", an incredible little pink house made of authentic wood.
Further going up to the heights (there is a staircase at the end of the street on the right after Chez Chantal at the end on the right)
You will arrive at the Manoir-Richelieu, a huge luxury hotel with 350 rooms
At the back of the building you will find the start of a path, the Sentier des Planètes.
It will lead you deep into the forest on a well-marked path
We cross a river and some streams, it’s very beautiful
I advise you to make this stopover at La Malbaie and especially at Pointe au Pic but if you don't have time it's not a big deal because it's not inevitable either.

Merci tellement...ça fait 22 ans que je vis Aux Éboulements sur la route du Fleuve 362 (j'espère que vous avez emprunté cette magnifique route panoramique pour vous rendre de Baie-St-Paul à La Malbaie) et je ne savais même pas qu'il y avait ce sentier des planètes au Manoir Richelieu... Je prévois y aller en fin de semaine c'est certain. Merci beaucoup

Je pense que c'est cette route qu'a emprunté le bus entre Baie St Paul et La Malbaie, il y avait en effet une trés belle vue Vous me direz si vous avez aimé le Sentier des Planètes :-)

J’ai hésité à poster cette ville car il n’y avait rien d’intéressant Mais le sentier était vraiment très beau 😋 C’est vrai que l’arbre ressemble à un oiseau Bien vue 👍🏻👏

Oui en effet pourquoi pas mais les gens presseraient que je fais de la pub 😜 Et en plus au Canada les logements sont extrêmement chers, j’ai donc dû prendre des hôtels bas de gamme pour rentrer dans mon budget 😅 À La Malbaie d’ailleurs j’ai pris un dortoir 😩🙈 À bientôt Au plaisir 😋
