He hurt her so she took his best friend. That's deep. She doesn't usually actually attack. Thus is seriously awesome. The ending was such a good twist and I know Mal0 is technically the antagonist, but she's not truly evil if you think further on it. And yes, SCP-1471-A does have a more feminine figure.

Honestly this is really good and right up there with Evan Royalty's work. The hardest part of any production is getting a good director to really put the characters in the "mind space" of the interactions they need to have in the particular scenes where there is significant dialogue. That's probably the weakest part of this short film. Everything else, from the camera angles to audio, environments, pacing, etc. were all top notch. I hope more videos like this show that we don't have to have the best special effects to make a quality SCP short film, just a lot of really good work and attention to detail in the right places.

I have been a horror movie buff since the 80s and this absolutely tickled my fancy in all the right ways. Really well done. One area where independent films usually fall down is sound design. That and the cinematography were very enjoyable. And that interview was brutally dull - I've been the one asking those same questions many times. The most unrealistic part was that weak-ass bowl of cereal. No self respecting dude puts 4 spoonfuls of cocoa pebbles in a bowl and downs it before the milk turns into brown ambrosia. :)
