On the contrary this is my ONLY problem with this fan film. I was expecting it to be more focused on the grittiness of STALKER life not all that heavy milsim stuff. All the fully kitted professionals with top tier weapons and equipment made it feel more like a typical action military tough guys movie. If there were just some more characters like Crow and Brain that would’ve been perfect. This and maybe also not have such a huge focus on action set pieces and more focus on the zone as an entity and a concept. Aside from that though the cinematography is top notch and there’s so much attention dedicated to small details that some people will never even notice that it’s pretty admirable.

Hello fellow stalker, your fan-fiim is really well done (coming from a vetern of the series). Would be looking forward for your future projects. If we can wait 13 years for S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 they we can wait a little longer for your next stalker film. PS: please make one that explores the mutants and anomalies, including the hive controller (that fasinated me)

I'm in the Army and work on a lot of the NVG's and other support items you guys use for these films, like the PEQ-15s and such. The attention to detail in this is amazing, been obsessed with this channel for as long as I can remember. I cant wait to see more from you.

Agreed! I now own 4 suppressors and only two are "movie quiet". Both my 22lr & 300blk dedicated suppressors are whisper quiet BUT only if I'm using subsonic ammunition aka slower than the speed of sound. Literally the second you step past the speed of sound there's no suppressor on the market that become anywhere close to hearing safe and are still extremely loud.

@@TerminalM193I'm wondering, since that bullet isn't faster than the sound it produces, can you hear the whizzing noise like as it's coming at you?

Crow's mental battle against the Hive Mind mirrored the climax of "Pretty Deadly: The Rat" in a lot of ways, and they both make a point that I really like: Forgiveness is the only way to be free of obsession. In Crow's case, its his obsession with the death of his wife/child and the man who killed them. Even after torturing the man, (I assume, it seemed from the way he acted in the dream he'd done it before, could be wrong though), Crow still could not let go of the pain of losing his wife and child. It was an outlet for his grief, but it also stoked it. Kept it burning long after it should have burnt down. Its only by choosing to forgive and let go that he is able to free himself from this anchor and resist the temptation presented by the Hive Mind. However, like in "Pretty Deadly", we also see those who are unable, or more accurately, unwilling to break free of their anchors. Brain could not let go of his obsession, with the idea of a better world, and thus he was consumed. (Another mostly surface level connection): Reaper of Obsession and Hive Mind both collect peoples minds/information. connections connections connections, I am very happy :))
