An idea for you to try. Clip a straw to a good length so when you want to do close up drops and not splatter then it will be precise. 😊 hopefully that helps.

Beautiful, Julie. I agree with you about those alcohol ink bottles. They should make them with eye droppers instead. It would be easier to control the drops.

To that, if you can find droppers that fit, you could pop out that dropper at the end (carefully!) and replace it with a dropper lid. Or, remove the dropper top and use a pipette. They're super cheap on amazon.

Lovely as usual! With the chrome pen you have to make sure it is properly primed and juicy. You have to put it on quite thick. Don’t touch it for 24 hours as it takes that long to set. I know this cos I messed up with it by touching it before the chrome was set!😂

Yes, I wish they'd "do something" about these dratted Spitting Inks! I was using the Cerulean Blue for a pair of coasters (bloom). Mine spat so badly this afternoon, I wanted to just chuck the whole thing. Really ruined the design! 🙄 grrrr! Thank goodness my granddaughter is young enough to think they'll be beautiful. 😊❤ SO excited to hear how close your studio is to being done!! Yay!!! I've noticed that you're using wooden sticks to stir. Personally, I've switched to silicone, which can be reused over and over. Reason being is that wood "breathes", so it has trapped air. The more you stir, the more air you force out of the stick and thus, more bubbles. Also, if bubbles are an issue, you can put the mix in a water bath at 125 F (you'll have to do the C conversion), or on an electric coffee cup warmer, for about 5 minutes and the bubbles will clear completely. Also, just in case, if you ever get resin that's crystalized (which happens when it's stored in cold conditions, like a warehouse if you're ordering online), you can reconstitute it just like you do honey ... in a water bath at 125 F, turning it over every now and then so it mixes, until it's completely fine again.

I noticed you mention some waiting times which I think is very important but being quite new to resin, I don't really know how much time to wait until decanting, pouring into the mold...This would be so helpful. Oh those are just so absolutely gorgeous! And to answer your question gosh yes definitely learning the 3D Blooms from you! I think everybody has. I watch some others that used to get nothing but blobs. And can tell they've watched you and see what they've been doing wrong. And now they're using the thermometer or they're waiting the certain amount of time xcetera. But I do get irritated when a few act like they're the ones that came up with it I think they should give you credit. You know just a shout out to you. Just my own pet peeve I suppose. Anywho love them.. I call you the Queen of the 3D pedal blooms..p.s. all those gorgeous clocks in the background sure do need homes! Will you ever start selling some of your clock blooms? Other colors I think 2 different purples maybe Plum and violet and yellow would be pretty. And NO I NEVER get tired of your blooms
