kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHLalaGhpdp8qJY - In this I explained Ohngren's line which divides maxilla into anteroinferior part ( infrastructure) and posterosuperior (Suprastructure) . So comes infrastructure maxillectomy (Mainly removes hard palate) and Suprastructure maxillectomy (Mainly removes orbital floor/contents). anything other than total maxillectomy is subtotal maxillectomy. This names are not used now adays . Latest editions of standard text books including Scott Brown, Classifies maxillectomy as partial,total and extended (as i have explained)

Madam, I had mucormycosis and left maxillectomy in May 2021 and did my reconstructive surgery with psi implants in April 2022. After my maxillectomy onwards i have severe burning sensation in my left nose and above sinus region mainly the burning sensation in evening time. I am a RTD paramedical person and you valid suggestion is requested Thanks.

Mam is middle and superior turbinates also removed in medical maxillectomy?

inferior and middle turbinates are removed in medial maxillectomy. Recently surgeons prefer to reinsert inferior turbinate after endoscopic MM
