I got two more months for my mini braids, I'm two months in. I can't wait to take them down cause I miss my fro ! and I plan on putting mine back in, in October.

You lasted long, and I know someone is going to be happy that you took the braids out lol I had taken my mini braids out at the beginning of April because of the unraveling. now I know based on your explanation texture plays a part in holding the braid. BTW I'm liking the sparkle nail polish ^_^

It’s been two months since I’ve had my mini braids. I haven’t been able to wash my hair because I’ve been sick with pneumonia. My hair still looks great. I’m to wash my hair soon and I will re-do the front. My hair grew a lot.

BLHH I took them out two weeks ago. The roots were matted but my hair grew a lot. I had to unbraid really slowly. Now I have my hair in twist. I think I will braid my hair again in February and leave it until the end of April.

Thank you so much for the updates. I just installed my mini braids last week😂 My goal is 2 months now, then another 2 hopefully from end of March til' sometime in May. In winter I wanna keep my strands all the way covered up til' August. Anyway I had a question, what was your wash routine throughout the duration of these braids? I want to do it every 2 weeks but I'm afraid of matting

Im taking mine down now😂and i wondered about putting the conditioner to help speed up the takedown. If they want the ends to not ravel put 🐝 wax . But I let mine unravel bc it helps with Takedown
