It soo feels unreal, I remember 5 years ago when boca chica launch site was just a pile of dirt. Then, they started to build what was looking to be a water tower at the build side, at that time we didn't know what was going on. Then the first flight of starhopper , to now, in couple days, the first orbital flight of starship! It's just amazing!

What a great viewing location. It’ll be crowded Monday morning. If I lived in Austin I’d be there too. I bet that there is a high probability that the first attempt will be scrubbed.

This is such a cool little place! I can imagine it will get completely overwhelmed on Launch Day. If I had my Cybertruck, I would perhaps park a few miles away and ride in on my ebikes.

Just herd launch, hope you saw it. Texas Day 1001, wed April 19th (14.59) Two new chimneys to casting hall. A little bigger than the first four. Not quite complete, Not sure how I missed it in previous flights but I have to notice right line and make sure the resolution is boosted and slow down speed.

Joe, just how close is the observation area to the lsunchsite? I'm guessing three miles based on the video in comparison to your video from South Padre. Have a great time at the launch. I'm planning to get there for the 2nd or 3rd launch when I predict the launch schedule and chance of launch are better understood.

I did not leave Giga Texas. I am on vacation and am here to watch starship launch (hopefully) but will be back after my vacation is over this week. You know, I haven’t taken any significant time off from covering Giga Texas in almost three year of continual coverage. I’m sorry this bothers you. I assume you watched my explainer video 10 days ago where I told viewers what to expect … if you missed that, you should go back and view this.

I will see the launch better than your live view. I also get a better view of GigaTX online from your videos, than from anyone else, including if I drove over from Cali. Much is happening in Austin, and you're not there. Jeff and Brad deliver excellent views, I will watch them ongoingly, and your perspective, input, and insight is very much missed. Just sayin.....
