As a man who studied finance and works in finance and investment, and has his own personal private investments The video is good but vague advice on most of them, but alot of missinformation. Cash might lose value over time due to inflation, but its still an asset, and not a volitile asset, a STABLE asset in the short term and has value, its a current asset and a liquid asset that can actually be used and traded. Everyone should ATLEAST have 6 to 12 months worth of monthly expenses in cash as reserves Even everything else your discussing is very vague, your not really giving important details to stocks and gold and even the vintage cars or any of them. Saying you should buy stocks is still dangerous if your not giving more important details like asset allocation and diversification and time horizon..ect. Buying single stocks is the worst advice you can give, people are flooding into gamestop and tesla stocks and other speculative stocks and increasing valuations of companies that are not even backed by any fundamentals. Tesla passed a 1 trillion dollar valuation based on what? Not only is thier cars filled with pannel gaps and alot of other defects and low quality materials and paint jobs, how many cars do they sell annually? Tesla is valued more the the total automotive industry combined and it sells less cars than bmw or any single automotive company? So this valuation is based on what exactly? This is all excess speculation your just pushing excess speculation in the markets. A gwagon depreciates 5%? It actually depreciates more than 50% in 5 years and has alot of mechanical defects and recalls, a toyota land cruiser holds its value almost more than any car on the market, and more reliable. The biggest missinformation is that your pushing NFTs and crypto currency, which are speculative, you are just increasing the excess speculation in the market, everything your doing is just pushing speculative assets. Its like the 1920s all over again. Its tulip mania all over again, its the dotcom bubble all over again, its 2008 financial crisis all over again, these ALL happened from excess speculation in the markets, not backed by any fundamentals. The best advice i can give to anyone who wants to invest, keep 12 months of expenses in cash, and keep it in deposits. Any money you need within 1 and 3 years keep in short term bonds, any money you need 3+ years like 5 10 15 20 30+ years and longer you can invest. And if your going to invest, you should always diversify your investments and keep them for the long term, use index funds or mutual funds and etfs, and if you want to invest in single stocks it should be no more than 10% of your portfolio, and no more than 5% of the 10% to a single stock. No more than 40% of your networth should be in physical realestate wether its your home or rentals. Everything else should be in liquid financial assets. If you want to invest in speculative assets like crypto, keep it no more than 3% of your portfolio, gold is safer than bitcoin, so gold should be 5%. When it comes to investing, your asset allocation determines almost 100% of your absolute returns, saying people should just invest in an assets is just very bad advice. This video is very vague. Your really just saying invest in assets because inflation which is also very vague, when there is other determinants when it comes to investing

Same old, same old, same old philosophy that's brought on every crisis and every bust. And WRONG in principles! eg. 'Diversification'/having a 'portfolio' means you're counting on AT LEAST some of your investments failing. It's the same as going to the race-track and backing EVERY horse in every race. Either pick THE winner or don't bet at all. (I was in the markets for 38 months and turned $30k into $1.2M, without a single loss, and got out because it was as much as I needed. NO 'expertise'; simple common sense. ( and for a day's entertainment I sometimes go to the races and ALWAYS come home with a month's wage. ALL monetary systems are common-sense based on numbers. Any 'expert' should be required to show you the money; either in bank-statements or, for those of us who don't use banks, by posting a photo of a suitcaseful of cash.

The detailed breakdown of various assets, ranging from dividend stocks and government bonds to cash flow businesses, mutual funds, real estate, and more, provides a solid foundation for understanding the vast array of investment opportunities available. Furthermore, the exploration of content creation, marketing, education, consulting, franchising, and other valuable assets showcases the importance of diversifying one's sources of income to achieve financial stability and growth. The inclusion of lesser-known investment opportunities such as farmland, royalties, and private businesses, as well as the emphasis on developing personal skills and creating online products, adds a unique and refreshing perspective to the conversation. I am genuinely grateful for the wealth of information presented in this video. Kudos to the creators for their dedication to educating and inspiring others on their journey towards financial freedom!

Better as in what? Used to, one of the selling points of cash is it’s stable. Your $1000 in cash isn’t going to drop to $100 tomorrow. Bitcoin is better in that it can give a better return. But, it’s also more volatile and can drop rapidly (anyone remember 2018?). So, it just depends on what you mean by better. Personally, most my non-cash assets are in business and precious metals. Business generates my Cashflow. Like it or not, we all still transact in dollars. So, you need some to use as an exchange until that changes. Precious metals are just my savings account. Plus, a Glock or 2 as my insurance policy.
@Bylov68123 жыл бұрын

What you're talking about is spending cash for purchases and wealth generation. I think you're missing the point because this video is talking about holding on to assets in comparison to the rate of inflation / purchasing power of cash over a period of time. The currency you use to purchase goods on a daily basis or make transactions with is irrelevant to this video.. It's explaining that pretty much anything will outperform cash as an investment over an extended period of time, based on the evidence presented. When you say that precious metals are your saving account, that's more in line with what this video is talking about. It's showing where to store your wealth and not related to how to spend it or even how to generate it beyond simply holding the asset. The cashflow generated from your investments and business is how you would purchase more assets and reinvest to store your wealth. Unless you're saying you would prefer to hold your assets in cash / bank accounts over any other asset that this video clearly demonstrates is very likely to outperform it over any period of time beyond a few years.

I always tell myself you don't need that new Car or that vacation just yet and that mindset helps me make more money invest : ng . For example last year I invested 70k in blue chip stocks and crypt0 s ( with the help of my advisor of course ) and made about 380k , but guess what ? I put it back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million . Delayed gratification always pays off

Pin yourself to a physical address and you're EVERYBODY'S favourite target. And the rules (not to mention prices (rates/taxes/zonongs/ etc) can be changed at the flick of a pen. Y'can't just pack it up and leave. A local authority here (Oz) just rezoned what was farmland/rural bushblocks into 'development', dense-housing., industrial/etc. zones and increased the rates (yearly ownership tax) eight-fold within a week. God must LOVE idiots: he made so MANY of them!
@dabbbles2 жыл бұрын
Without so-called 'expertise' I've done well in both. I got out when I'd accumulated more than I was ever going to spend. I never saw anything 'complex' about real-estate; the only problem with it is that so-called 'authorities' can tamper with property at will, and at the very least tax you (at whatever figure suits them) forever. And you have NO options because you can't just pack it up and leave. The trick with stocks, contrary to 'expert advice', is to recognise the clues and get in-and out quickly. Just recently I picked up solid shares which will ALWAYS pay good dividends no matter WHAT the price does) at $87-odd and sold them them two days ago for $117-odd. Chances are they'll go up another $10 (or more because there's a decent dividend on the way shortly), but I'm not desperate and don't need the stress of 'gambling', which even a 'good-thing' can degenerate into.

They hate the good and adore the evil. You don't care what even a secular scholar like Dr. Bart Erhman says of the evidences of this historical Jesus but you call me "brainwashed"😂 It's crazy the deluded individuals like you we have got out there. Go read some books. Some of the major scientists who made groundbreaking scientific discoveries were Christians like Faraday, Newton, etcetera.

My thoughts on metals...if you get them, do it phsically...if shtf happens, there is only 10% of real metal redeemable on paper.

I totally disagree with this video. Real Estate is overpriced, the US stock market is about to tank in March due to the Fed stopping QE, Bitcoin has been dropping quickly, gold is overpriced. Cash is actually what you need to buy assets when they suddenly lose value.
