FYI Hat Kid's Summer Vacation isn't COMPLETELY an original idea like you suggest; it's based on Gears For Breakfast's excellent indie game A Hat in Time - and uses the same player character. This reminds me of the original Starcraft multiplayer. The level creator was so in depth you could make totally different games. In fact DOTA which stemmed from a WOW RTS actually got their idea from a level in Starcraft first.

Got this today, I don't like FPS games in general but Prometheus is fun, also there is another Crash Bandicoot game called Tripsanity, tight controls and really good animations. Also check out Ultra Realistic FPS Prototype, it's well done graphically. There are also a few cute FF7 games that's just a boss fight FF7 Dreamake looks really nice, haven't checked the other, also quite a few isometric Diablo like games. Give this a few more months and we'll have some great stuff and as far as I know the devs have this up and running on PS5 hardware so imagine if it gets updates for that, the creators can then really do some fantastic stuff with the extra horsepower. I'm not super creative but I might try my hand at doing some NES games I played as a kid. Tempted to see if I can do something like Shatterhand.

Guess I should have said or explained that I ment breakthrough as in at some future iterations of software similar to this could be amazing but only time will tell. But yeah you can only do so much in Dreams. But I do have a BA in game art and design from the Art institute and what they accomplished in Dreams is still a massive undertaking and for the UI and controls to be as intuitive as they are is unbelievable. Just would love to see it with unlimited size and length when it comes to creating and it will come at some point via PS5 or PS6 it's just a step in the right direction giving creative tools to the community is never a bad thing.

The reason I am attracted to that is because I am Interested in tools that can take advantage of ray tracing and create in line with the PS5's increased CPU/GPU capabilities.

So dreams ps4 is well.... a dream come true! I cant wait. I bought dreams to create, but its biggest problem is that it does have a massive, massive collection...of half baked games and ideas. People get bored of creating so they stop or it takes so long to make progress that the whole game is riddled with half finished stuff, or things that are made so quickly they are lack luster. I know years from now it will likely be much better.
