long ago when I was younger in Singapore .. we booked a BBQ pit to enjoy BBQ chicky wings, sausages, fish balls .. Njoying the nice atmosphere with sentimental music from our boom box .. later night would be the gathering of ghost stories telling .. now? .. 2 person handles the BBQ & the rest staring at their phones!

WOW ---- The price of most of these camping accessories will only set you back this camping season but get you ready for next season to sleep out in the flimsy thin tent right on the ground but no worries that tent as been rated # 5 that the Bears Cougars and the recently showing up around the world Big Foot won't be able to unzip the tent while your camping and it's real light to carry you away in it so you can be imersed with nature affect, Safty Whistle not included 💀👻👍👍👍😄.. 👍👍👍👍😎🍻✌️👋

Yeah, but you can’t use the shower bag at home during a grid down. You can’t hang it high enough to get under it to shower. I know I have it. It’s really heavy when full too, another issue when considering hanging it. We could never get it to work, so we just stored it away, think MAYBE it might heat water during a grid down, but only if it’s hot out at the time.

That smart wagon is not going to go through the snow and mud the wheels on it are to small for that and it definitely won't go over rocks and rough terrain and the Patty stick under your vehicles tires the level without for the price of better come up with a little compressor to blow it up if you have to get that separate it's not worth it

The pleasure of camping is gone now. With all these conveniences, you may as well stay at home where you already have them. Camping is supposed to be FUN, not convenient.
@randysmith963610 ай бұрын
Convenient can be fun. At 64 I don't do much hiking in, it's more truck camping now days. Still tent only but I do use a air mattress, very Convenient. My tent is a Mountain Hardware Trango 3 and I have been in 70 mph winds with it, unfortunately. When the grandkids go (75% of the time) they have their own tents (s), each has a LG duffel bag and smaller personal bag, very convenient. Kitchen/cooking box, convenient, lighting and outdoor games box, convenient, eating screen house during rain, very convenient, mountain bike racks, convenient, plenty of fire wood, very convenient (I have a fire in the mornings and evenings for cooking) very convenient. My set up took a year of trial and error to get right and to make sure the kids have everything. In about a hour or slightly more we can be on the road. All that convenience is what makes for a fantastic camping experience. No electronics are allowed other than some lighting, a weather radio and of course my phone.
@就事论事-676710 ай бұрын
camping should be about cooking an easy meal over firewood .. perhaps a better tent to brave the rainy night .. blending oneself with nature to experience the quiet surroundings except for chirping birds and tiny insects ..
@randysmith963610 ай бұрын
@@就事论事-6767 wow, that sounds, that sounds so, so, unrealistic. Obviously you don't have kids or grandkids It does sound nice and many years ago when it was just me hiking in it was pretty much like that. But those days have long since past. With 3 - 5 grandkids on a trip there is no silence or much calm. There is something always going on.
@ericschneider49769 ай бұрын
@@randysmith9636I have 2 kids. Now teenagers. I just never raised them to expect someone else, or an electronic device to entertain them. Don’t tell the rest of us it’s unrealistic because you and other parents/grandparents have established absurd expectations for your little snowflakes
