I own a 1997 CSi V6 and I would never do any mods to it, to try and make it look sporty, I would be embarrassed. It's a granny mobile and I think it should never be touched, but whatever floats you're boat.

Got two questions: - what floor mats are those? Been looking for decent all weather rubber ones for ages - if you've driven the previous generation camry, is the interior floor the same shape as the 97 camry? I'm thinking of getting a sandgrabba set of floor liners to keep it easy to clean. edit: i forgot to update this, but for rhd camrys, look up 'sandgrabba floor liner' for the 4th gen camry. they have a set, but it also fits the 3rd gen, although you may need to modify it a tiny bit to get it to fit around the boot and fuel door handles.

If you want you car go fast, buy a Venza Engine, and put a 2" exhaust, the venza engine have 300hp, and is a FWD engine
